2Co 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Why am I writing this series?

1. To encourage God’s people to share their faith.
   2.To give practical advice on sharing our faith.
2. To give out of over 3 decades of sharing my own faith and the joy of winning souls for the Kingdom.

Some criticize me for writing about these things. Accuse me of pride or bragging about good deeds. I know who I am without Jesus! This world is much better offf without the old me! Like a friend of mine says, A man changed by the love of Jesus. I know without Him I can do nothing and without Jesus, I am nothing.
My intent is to brag on Him!

2Co 12:9 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

My one true goal is to encourage others to folllow Jesus!

Jer 9:23 “Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.”

My boasting is in the Lord!

New York Holiday Inn Express-The manifest presence of God

I actually would love to write about this every day as these are the true life experiences that really make following Jesus exciting and worth the trip. It is not an easy life being a missionary in a foreign land. It is not really easy to serve the Lord. These are the times, like pools in a desert place, where you unmistakingly see the finger of God.

So this is a continuation of the last post. This happened at the Kennedy airport Holiday Inn Express. It is a continuation but this happened 6 months later. I went back to the area for some business and for an invitation to minister in a church in Brooklyn. I was only staying one night this time. I had parked my car in the back and I was super tired, so I went directly to bed and slept.
When I woke up, pretty early, as soon as I opened my eyes, I saw a placard that I was suppose to have placed in my car to keep them from towing it away.

The words popped out at me and now I jumped out of bed, and raced downstairs to get this card in my car ASAP, as soon as possible. If you ever had your car towed away in New York, this is not a fun experience!

As I was putting the card in my car, one of the camareras, or maids, started to pound on the glass and wave at me, like she had known me all of her life.

The only difference, it wasn’t the little mermaid, but a real person. Ha!
She wasn’t only waving, she has a big smile of excitement and she was pounding on the window.

“Te recuerdo” I remember you! It was 6 months ago in a super busy airport. And you remember me? I don’t recall this lady! But I sensed God was somehow in this.

She was from the Dominican Republic, she told me the last time I was there, she was watching from a distance. She wanted prayer the last time and regretted not coming forward. I sat down in the breakfast area with her. We prayed and cried! And....

The Presence of God Manifested

Don’t tell me God quit doing this! No cessation garbage or dispensation theology where God quit bringing the benefits of the cross of Jesus Christ to mankind.

Isa 53:5 “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

Psa 103:2 “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;”

1Pe 2:24 “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

Just like the last visit as we started to pray, you could sense the tangible presence of God! People started to gather and many were weeping and worshiping. People wanting prayer, repenting of their sins. A true Work of God! I was more of a spectator, but so glad I was there. People were instantly healed. Many confessed Jesus as Lord, repenting of their sins. God was in the house (hotel) and everyone there knew it. When God is in the house with the kabod, the weight of His Presence, the impossible, just became possible. Hallelujah!
In a little over two hours, God did what many churches don’t even see in a year. When the Lord builds the house! Wow! When we are where God is interested and already at work, you can guarantee, the sparks are going to fly! His glory will be seen! The Name of Jesus will be lifted up. The captive will be set free! Salvation will come to entire households.

This is part 10 of a series on evangelism. I hope to continue with some practical ideas on how you can also share your faith and win souls.
