WHY GOD NEVER GETS ANGRY AT HIS PEOPLE...

If we try to date back to the creation of the world, we remember that GOD made everything and it was good. From the separation of day from night to creation of land and then plants, animals and ultimately, MAN, we see that God had an initial plan for man to be perfect for he said:

Genesis 1:26 – Then God said, “Let us make man[h] in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth

But the image God was talking about wasn’t the physical appearance of man but the spirit of God that dwells in man
GENESIS 2:7 - And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

And the devil seeing man as a threat decided to meet man in the form of a serpent; to trick man and make him fall short of God’s glory.

So he made man disobey God, causing him to sin.

Now the wages of sin is death (romans 6:23) and immediately man disobeyed, man died but the death would be seen in two aspects.

• Man died as a result of losing direct contact with God or severing the fellowship and relationship between God and man. An illustration is given below
Think of it like taking a fish out of water. Once the fish is brought out, it doesn’t die immediately but dies eventually or also, removing a plant from the soil and not putting it back. It dies.
So the first death is the death of the spirit-man. The connection to God, the ultimate source of life is no longer available.
• The second type of death man faced is the physical one we all see and know now. The death of our body. This wasn’t God initial expectation.
And so, to redeem man and bring man out of their state of filth, God gave laws for man to follow through the tablets given to Moses (10 commandments).

And God gave a lot of DOS and DON’TS and the people tried as much as they could to follow them. But the more they tried to follow these laws, the more they sinned, because that’s what laws do – create more and more offenders or sinners. And so because the people kept sinning, the needed a way to atone for their sins and thus the killing of lambs yearly came into play. And so came a lot of people that God tried to us to save man from his fallen state but all failed. And after a long while, God decided to send Jesus, his son.

JOHN 3:16 - For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting. ... For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

And so Jesus (God the son) being born in the exact image/likeness of God died for all men. On the cross, He took up sin so that we might be saved and free from sin. He became death so that we might live. And so all the anger of GOD towards man was justified in Christ Jesus on the cross. And because of all that Jesus became for us, we now walk in the new light of God having gotten restoration of God’s glory.
And I end this write up with an illustration to help us understand why God never gets angry at man,
Man having believed and accepted Jesus is covered by him. We stand behind Jesus and He is in front of us. And so, when God looks at us, He sees Jesus and He never gets angry because the wrath of God is satisfied in Jesus.

ROMANS 5:9 - Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God

Remember brethren in Christ that the love of God for us is infinite and supreme so never think that He’s angry or doesn’t love you.

Stay blessed.

Who is he that can withstand the wrath of God. We must abide by His will so that we will be saved

Yes. No one can. God is slow to anger but it doesn't mean he doesn't get angry. Thumbs up
