Good morning to you all, our text passage is taken from the book of 1Samuel 16:1-13
There Is no way u can erect a building without making use of stones. In today's building technology (except for laying foundation),we mostly make use of blocks (bricks). Even among these blocks, we have choice block - blocks which are reserved for special purposes. Among the blocks are also the rejected blocks. From out text we saw how God went for the "choice block" when he needed to "lay the foundation of Israel ".God told Samuel to go to the house of Jesse and anoint one of the sons as king. Something spectacular happened here, God did not choose people like Eliab as King. The man God chose fell below human standard -a rejected block.

This man was only qualified to take care of animals in the bush
Verse 11 of our text says "And Samuel said unto Jesse, are here all thy children? And he said, there remaineth yet the youngest and, behold he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, send and fetch him... "
Beloved, it doesn't matter if men have rejeced you. But because you are not in any way rejected by God, you will soon become the chief cornerstone of your Father's house, and place of work. You shall once again be desired. Those in "authority" will not have peace until they restore your rightful position. Say a big A-M-E-N if you believe this!
