STEEMCHURCH- God loves us....

The Bible is the book that God gave to learn from Him. To learn from someone, it is best to make an appointment with that person and examine them through some type of discussion, of course under the premise that the answers you get will be reliable. . In the same way, to learn from God the only way is to read his "personal interview": The Bible.

One of the things that God mentions very often is trusting Him. For example Proverbs 3: 5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight. "
In this verse, God exhorts us not to trust Him very little, but to trust in Him with all our heart. However, I think that most of us will agree that to trust someone or have a good relationship with someone, you need to know it well. The better you know that person, the better relationship you will have and the easier it will be to trust him.

In the previous passage, God calls us to trust Him with all our heart. However, how is it possible, if we do not know it? And, how can we know about Him? There is only one valid way: go to the Bible, where God reveals himself.

Let's start in 1 John 4: 8:

"...God is love"

These three words are probably enough to answer many questions we might have about God, and at the same time, may overthrow all the opinions we have heard about God. These three words tell us that God LOVES us and love is something that manifests with actions. If I say, "I love you, I love you" and behind your back I do unpleasant things, do you think there is love in me? No. Love has to manifest with actions. The same applies to other things for which one can be motivated. If someone is motivated by fear, it will manifest in their actions, which will be fearful, cowardly, etc. If someone is motivated with hate, it will also manifest in their actions: cruelty, falsehood, etc. God is also motivated by something and that something is LOVE. However, it remains to be seen how God manifests His love in his actions. To see these actions we have to go to His word.

1. God loves us - He gave us His only Son:

To begin to see God's actions, which have been made as a result of His love for us, we go to 1 John 4: 9 which says: "In this the love of God was shown to us, in that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, so that we might live by him."

As the above says, love has to be manifested with actions. Here the Word of God tells us that God absolutely loves us and that His love showed itself. We will continue to see how it was shown:

God showed His love by sending His only Son, Jesus Christ, to the world so that we could live through him.

2. God loves us - He made us His children

Another field in which God shows His love is described in 1 John 3: 1-2.

1 John 3: 1-2
"See what love the Father has given us, so that we may be called children of God; This is why the world does not know us, because it did not know him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and what we are to be has not yet been manifested; but we know that when he manifests, we will be like him, because we will see him as he is. "

According to this verse, God did not love us so much when we believed in Jesus Christ, who made us His children. So, if we ask ourselves why He made us His children, the answer is because He loved us. As you see, people try to have a good relationship with those who have a certain power, and here God, who does not have only a certain power but ALL power, has made it possible for people to become their children. When someone believes in Jesus Christ he becomes a son or daughter of God

3. God loves us - He trains us

Another place where the love of God manifests is in training and correction. I think many of us will agree that although training and correction are often not very pleasant, they are made by those who love us honestly, they are proof of the love they have for us. Imagine a family where parents do not correct their children, how will the children learn that what they sometimes do is not the best? If for example a child wanted to take a dangerous medicine that is on the table, what would the parents do if they love them? They would tell him that it is not good for him, that is, they would correct him. The other alternative is to let the child do what he wants, good or bad. However, I do not think many of us would call this alternative love. Therefore, another field where love can be manifested is in correction and training, and God as a loving father manifests His love in this field as well. He corrects us, trains us. Let's go to Hebrews 12.

Hebrews 12: 6
"For the Lord whom he loves, discipline ..."

God trains, disciplines His children as well as our earthly parents. And why does it? Why do not we like you? DO NOT. If we did not like him, then he would never train us, he would never correct us. Parents who do not love their children abandon them, they do not care if what they do is good or bad. But our Father loves us and that is why he corrects us, trains us, disciplines us.

4. God loves us - Nothing can separate us from His love

Having seen some of the ways through which the love of God manifests itself and that it is because of that love that God has for us that we are not afraid of Him but that we love and reverence Him, it is time to see that God not only does he love us now, but there is nothing that can separate us from His love. That means that God loved us, loves us and will love us forever. Let's go to Romans 8: 38-39.

Romans 8: 38-39
"For which I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor the present, nor the future, nor the height, nor the deep, nor any other created thing, can separate us of the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. "

God loves us and THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN MAKE US NO LONGER LOVE US. This is the love that motivated him to do all these wonderful things when "we were still sinners". It is that same love that motivates him today when he deals with us, His children. And it is that same love that will motivate him every day and forever.
