TRUST IN THE LORD

Psalms 118:8-9,
"It is to better to trust in the LORD,than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD,than to put confidence in princes."

Sometimes,people do things in their own knowledge than seeking the truth from God. They tend to trust and put their hope in man rather than trusting in their God, the maker of all.

We are all human beings and we are not to be relied upon. People trust in their relatives for success but they forget that they can change their minds at any time,and when they get to them,they feel disappointed by them.

Somebody may promise you today,and tomorrow they pretend not to have said anything of such. Human beings are not stable,they change just as weather changes.

The Bible passage is telling us not put our trust in man rather we should only trust God for whatsoever we desire we want to become.

Your family may come with promises of helping you,but just know one thing, do not rely on them too much. Focus on God and expects something greater. If they do it,fine! But if not,you have peace of mind that God would do something great.

After my secondary school, I learnt to not trust anybody except God. After my mum demise in 2016,families promised to act as mother for me and my siblings, but where are they? Not even a call to ask after us. So do not put your trust on anyone,only God.

Jeremiah 17:5-6 says,
"Thus says the LORD,cursed is the man that trusteth in man,and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. For he shall be like the heath in desert,and shall not see when good cometh,but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness,in a salt land and not inhabited."

Note that the only opportunity you have is to trust in the Lord and He will not let you down.

God is not a man that He should fail you. No

Put your trust in the Lord and your ways shall be prosperous.
