It is not enough to know that we are qualified to be called children of God. As Christian we must carry on with the right mindset so that our faith does not wax cold.
If truly we are children of God, we can be assured that God will never fail in his role as a father to us. There are things which keeping the law will not be enough for our justification but our being in Christ jesus.
we must understand that our salvation is a gift of Gods Grace through Christ Jesus. Not what we can do by our works.
If we life by the law of the spirit of life that is in Christ Jesus we are free from the law of sin and death. Living in obedience to God adding the good works will not allow sin to dominate in our lives. Domination of sin causes death i.e separation from GOD.
It is through faith that we can overcome the world. Physically it may appears you are the same old person. In actual fact you are enter into a new life of victory from sin, failure, boundage etc.
