What More can you Hope For?

Thus says the Lord:

Behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind. But be glad and rejoice for ever in that which i create; for behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

With the words of assurance, God said through Prophet Isaiah:

I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and be glad in my people; no more shall be heard in it the sound of weeping or the cry of distress.

No more shall there be in it an infant that lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the child shall die a hundred years old, But these promises and assurance came with a foundational, unchangeable imprint:

They shall build houses and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruits.

God spoke through his prophet Isaiah to bring to his people assurance of God's promises, blessings and longevity of life; these no mortal can give or do, amulets, charms, enchantments and incantations can not give, can not guarantee, because if the devil promises man or gives him anything,he will collect something greater in return; this is what I call the Law of Exchange, 'Be glad and rejoice' in all God has created,he said through this genuine, reputable prophet Isaiah, In this light, Psalm 30 states:

I will extol you,Lord, for you have raised me up and have not let my enemies rejoice over me.

Jesus Christ is the lifter of our soul from the grave, restored us to life from those who sink into the pit, Why won't you praise his holy name. In all things, give thanks, sing psalms to the Lord, His anger lasts a moment;

his favour all through life. At night there are tears, but at dawn comes joy.

Cry out to God, plead his mercy on every situations, circumstances of life; favourable or unfavourable for He has changed our mourning into dancing, above all give thanks eternally.

Look Within, Beyond and Gain Wisdom

Jesus himself testified that a prophet has no honour in his own country. Christ performed miracles; turned water into wine, healed the son of an official, He did not follow him,only said a word and he believed even while the son is at the brink of death. This represented the second sign did when he had come from Judea to Galilee.
Does the Powers of God, Christ the son and the Holy Spirit still at work in our wold today? Yes! Are there still authentic prophets, vessels in earthen clays, or perhaps you can not see their imparts you may say; How come there's so much evil in our different,local societies and in the entire world?
The answer is Yes, The powers of the Blesses Trinity (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit) is still at work and in full force, why we do not seem to see or have experienced, or experience their powers is because we have lost touch in the realm of the Spirit, our carnal man has become so active,docile to the laws of this earth while our Spirit Man has **turned off Divine Connectivity, for those who had, have faith and believed in God, His Son and his prophets encountered the inestimable powers, awesomeness of the Divine unction, but those who allowed over familiarity, contempt for closeness, excessive proximities to the men and women of God;pastors, evangelists, prayer warriors etc has blinded,hence blocked themselves from receiving from God.

Men have become so attuned to the earthen vessels that if it is not a global men and women of God who have,run ministries on the air, and does not have prophetic powers, miraculous powers of throwing people up and down, then he/she is not a genuine man of God,he must be fake, we will say, we have loved religious activities, traditions and doctrines of Men than the infallible Words of God written in the scriptures, we fail to listen to the calm voice of the Holy Spirit in us, it's true God reveals himself through signs and wonders to people, but mostly are for unbelievers that they may believe, and that the faith of the faithfuls be made stronger. Listen to Him, trust in his prophets, pastors, and in other men who are not minister, but have become ministers by their baptismal vows, the confirmation of newness of life in the Holy Spirit. Listen to a friendly advice, listen to the warnings about an impending dangers from parents, listen to your wives, your husbands, your children, listen to your colleagues for these are altars, vessels from where God speaks to men, through his Son and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Digging Deep

The Israelites had been hurting under multiple afflictions. The prophet Isaiah foretold their healing and the restoration of good times from the Lord. Similarly, the son of the Capernaum official was ill and close to death. Jesus decreed his healing even without seeing him. But the father had enough faith to take Jesus at his word. His faith was duly rewarded. Not infrequently, God's children experience trials of different kinds, some self inflicted, the result of their own folly, like the case of the Israelites. But if they have faith like that of the official to take their case to the Lord, he has both the power and the will to bring them solace.
