I AM STANDING ON THE ROCK.

I am standing on the Rock,
So strong and mighty
The Rock of ages so ancient And true.
The rock that never fails,
Cant stand on any other.
Cos Sinking sand abounds,
but the sure Rock is strong and true,
Jesus Christ the Lord.

I have an anchor that keeps
My boat from drifting.
I have an anchor the keeps my soul
While the storms of life assails
And waves ragging.
Steadfast and sure while the billows roll,
Fastened so firm that I fear no treat.
Jesus Christ the anchor on my soul.

I have a shield from all the ferry darts
Of Satan the enemy-inchief.
The arrows of fury and the spears of death,
All are repelled because His arms are strong and mighty. My soul in him has found a refuse. Jesus the shield of my life.

Why are you cast down oh! my soul,
Rejoice thou in the Lord your maker,
The Lord of Ghost is his name.
He the keeps you neither sleeps nor slumber.
He parted the red sea for them,
He is the same today.
I am the Lord I change not is there with you.
