FRATERNAL AFFECTION; THE CHRIST TYPE OF LOVE; LOVE THAT IS SEEN IN ACTION.

2PETER 1:5-7

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

DOING TO OTHER WHAT THEY CAN'T PAY BACK....BECAUSE OF THE HIGH PRICE, COMMON THINGS THAT ARE NOT COMMON....SHINE THE LIGHT FOR OTHERS TO SEE. thats what love is all about.

The Greek word for brotherly kindness is "Philadelphia", which means fraternal affection; learning to be useful in a brotherly manner; having godly love for brethren, when you have " Philadelphia", it means you esteem, honour, and love others dearly.

The prerequisites for fruitful and productive life in Christ is embedded in practicing kindness; practice walking in love, honouring and esteeming others.

 >>[ROMANS 12:10]

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

     [2PETER 1:8]

For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.

We should endeavor to speak good of people. If truly we love from our heart, the present of that love should be able to hide multitude of sins.

The important of love can not be overemphasis in our world - because love is more than mere saying the word(love). Its impact lays in the action.

Love is like a tea bag that only brings out its usefulness when it passes through hot water;.

Anybody can claim to love when everything is going well but few sticks when the water become hotter.

Mostly, what we are experiencing in the world and Christendom today, in the name of love is what I call "exchange type of love "😳(trade by barter),

You love because of what you think, you can gain and that's why most a times, we are disappointed,- love without expecting in return, love unconditional.

When becomes a trap for your desire, when the desire is thwarted, you become heartbroken, your will be filled with hatred, you become bittered towards people and swear never to love again.

LETS COME BACK TO THE TRUE LOVE, CHRIST HAS GIVEN TO US!

LOVE COUNTS NO WRONG! LOVE KNOWS NO BOUNDARY!!

LOVE OTHERS AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF! DON'T JUDGE OR TRY TO OUTDO OTHERS, RELATE TO THEM WITH LOVE OF CHRIST THAT IS IN YOUR HEART, BE GRACIOUS, LOVING, AND KIND TO THEM ALWAYS.

JESUS IS THE SYMBOL OF LOVE

Sad but true!
I also hear people, as you suggested in this article, that they are not going to help people anymore because the person didn’t appreciate it or even turned on them. Then this deed the did was for the wrong motives.
Whatever we do, we do it because it is right, and we do it to please the Heavenly Father. If what we do is motivated by our love for God and phileo, our love for our fellow man. We do it to please God and God is pleased, then we have reached our desired goal. To please God! Our payment is to please God!
Now it does not matter how the person responds or acts. All that matters is we please God!
Thank you my friend and brother for this inspired piece,
GOD BLESS!
