THE VALUE OF ADOPTION IN CHILDREN. SOLIDARITY LOVE

For many people, adopting generates fears and uncertainties, however, there is nothing more valuable and supportive for a child than to be accepted and welcomed with love, by a family that, although a substitute, later became theirs by affection and conviction, and it will quickly become your most iemphasized textmportant core.

As a Social Worker, and Coordinator of a Shelter, I have had the opportunity to deal very closely with adoption cases, where beyond the legal summary to comply, rigorous or not for many, what is most important is the emotionally valued process of the Same thing. Understanding that there is a paternal need for possible future parents, which includes the reason to feel fulfilled with this fact, but above all, there is and should be the affection, acceptance and sense of belonging that the child wishes to feel and / or receive.

For an adoption, there are many aspects to assess. At stake is the physical, emotional and mental health of the child, taking into account that many of them involve socio-family and psychosocial situations that are particularly painful and often traumatic. Therefore, not everyone is able to make an adoption. Beyond the right to adopt, there is the right of the child to be adopted by responsible persons and fully aware of what such action implies.
All children, without exception, require and deserve to have a family.

My experience in this field, has let me see that these children and adolescents assisted and interned in Attention Entities, Homes / Shelters, among others, although they can feel and / or appreciate the love that is offered to them, is never and will be for them how to feel the warmth of a home, of a family, and of the active parental functions for their integral well-being. They need to express with full conviction and affection words like; mom - dad ...) as main roles in their lives and properly functional for them.

The degree of soul-emotional healing that a child can experience through a sample of love as great as adoption is; The feeling that it is important and valuable for someone can be motivation and motivation to grow healthily, with good projections to the future, and emotional stability. That is why, adoption should not be taken lightly for those who wish to incur in this process, since it is not solely and exclusively to cover our maternal and / or paternal needs, but to transform the life of a child who, inside he waits for someone; for a family that loves and sincerely accepts it. It is about him, about his well-being, about filling his life and affective causes.

It is important to note, that as a believer, disciple and young passionate for God and His Word, I have been concerned that children and adolescents in our shelter house, be taught and guided in the faith of the Lord, uniting and preparing to all our Human Team for this Spiritual Work, since there is no better and greater gift, than to grow by receiving and meditating on the Biblical Principles and Values, and faithfully following the example of our Lord Jesus Christ.
