The Steem blockchain has given birth to SteemChurch, a decentralised online community for Chirstians worldwide; and, the fastest growing community on Steemit.

Steem founder @ned has been in South Korea promoting the Steem blockchain too. There are now over 350 applications leveraging off Steem. See his presentation here.
These are all good signs for the future of the Steem blockchain and for the growth of our Church.
Then of course there are our recent projects - gaining much attention and facilitating much interest in our Church. I would like to thank @isaacfem for this highly creative project footer.
And let us not forget our amazing new website thanks to @marcelo182
Steem will always be our home.
To date Steem has served us well and will continue to do so in the future.
However, we need to be aware of other platforms onto which we can expand our presence and our mission.
EOS
EOS will potentially launch its own social media platform. With all the funds that Blockone has - they might reward communities like ours well for expanding onto their platform.
This Knight has already made preparations for the Church to seize any such EOS opportunity which might arise.
But again, this EOS platform will be another blogging platform. We have already made huge leaps forward for Christianity on the blogger-sphere. So where to next?
Well where to indeed!
SteemChurch in Virtual Reality.
In discussing success, world famous Ice Hockey player Wayne Gretzky said:
'A good hockey player plays where the puck is. A great hockey player plays where the puck is going to be.'
In applying a similar 'strategy for success' for the SteemChurch, we cannot simply 'be where our parishioners are', we must go where our parishioners are going to be. And where is this?
Virtual Reality Gaming.
The advent of the blockchain was the first step towards a virtual reality - and a whole new world! A whole new world which, will require Christian morals and ethics in order to thrive as a working ecosystem; for the benefit of all mankind.
For many months now this Knight has been on the lookout for a blockchain which could prove a foundation for virtual reality worlds.
This Knight believes he has found it.
CHIMAERA
Imagine if you will - a virtual SteemChurch Cathedral. Beautiful and splendid like the cathedrals of old - a grand tribute to our heavenly father and his son Jesus Christ. The first ever cathedral to be built upon blockchain.

The lord of STEEM has spoken, and it's quite lengthy and also marvelous in my sight.
What can I say 1,000,000 registered account already, steemit has hit an incredible milestone, and I'm glad we @steemchurch has been part of the engaging community to spread the gospel of the good news of the lord and that of steem
Also EOS seems to already be getting into the mix, they know they need to have a social media platforms backing it, I'd not, they make it for just some specific type of people.

This is so true! I wouldn't have imagined SteemChurch would get this big under a short time, months ago.
Speaking on the VR experience, It'll be great. I bought a VR box some years ago to enjoy virtual reality, it was really fun. It would be fun to play around a big church with a VR.

The SteemChurch executive committee believes that this is a very good question Brother Jaff8; and, therefore places the task upon you to come up with the answer.
If the Church is to expand onto a new blockchain in pursuit of our mission, our parishioners will need an understanding of how to best participate on this platform.
We do have some time however, as Chimaera does not appear to be launching a VR channel initially - but like SirKnight said - it is not about being where it is; it is about being where it is going to be.

Indeed the @steemchurch is thriving in all aspects. In terms of members, we keep increasing each day. In the area of spreading the message of freedom, which is the core duty of the steemchurch, we are lagging behind. I'm so happy about that.
Steemit will always be my home, it will always be our home cause it has served us well. The platform which is growing rapidly gave birth to this great Christian group on the blockchain which as been spreading the message of Jesus.
I'm not surprised steemit has hit such a great number of members, I expected it cause steemit is really a great place. Who doesn't like good things?? Very soon steemit will take over in the world of social media.

I have heard some good things about Chimaera and I think there is a lot of opportunity to come in several of the gaming tokens. I am not much of a gamer myself but it is definitely going to be one of the areas of the blockchains that is going to pull a lot of eyes and have a huge diversity of content.
In time, the community aspects of places like steem and ono etc will integrate across the other platforms too and run side by side or overlap with other chains. The VR aspect will of course require more services than the gaming chain will handle itself so utility chains like steem and EOS could be decent candidates considering their speed and potential capacity.
It is an interesting world we are building.
