THE Potency Of Your Words

Four things make your words potent. First, God confirms your words; He is committed to performing whatever you say.

God has not changed, He is the one that Confirmeth word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his die messengers... (Isa. 44:26).
secondly, your words put the angels to work. They carry out your words, whether positive or negative. No wonder

The Bibles warns in Ecclesiastes 5:6:
suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands!
God gave a similar warning to Moses and the children of Israel in the wilderness (Ex. 23:20-21). Angels can be turned on in your favour by your words of faith. The three Hebrew boys in Babylon enjoyed angelic intervention because they spoke the right words before being thrown into the fiery furnace (Dan. 3:15-25).

A third reason why your words are powerful enough to command signs is because every word is a seed. The Word of God is seed (Lk. 8: 11-15). As a true child of God therefore, your words are also seeds (Ps. 82:6). Since whatever a man sows is what he reaps, the things you say are what will happen to you. So, begin to say exactly what you want to see, because until you say it, you won't see it.

Think about it for a moment: is it the same day you sow a seed you expect a harvest? No! Therefore, it is not always the first time you say a thing that you see it. But keep on saying the right words in faith, until the harvest manifests. The more contrary things look, the louder you must declare the way you expect them to be; and you shall have what you say.

Fourthly, your words give you control over all opposition. Every "close-mouthed" Christian is a victim of oppression. Open your mouth wide, and God will fill it (Ps. 81:10). He has given you a mouth and wisdom that no opponent can withstand (Lk. 21: 15). All the enemies of your life are waiting for the sound of your voice to bow; so start speaking loud and clear (Ps. 18:44-45).

If you must enjoy the supernatural, you need to mind what you say about your life, person, business, career, marriage, property, children, etc. Until you know how to use your tongue correctly, you can never enjoy a colourful future.

Speak Boldly

Speaking boldly gives divine authority to your speech. Jesus, our perfect example, spoke so boldly that every one who heard Him marveled at His boldness. Even the storms could not withstand the authority with which He spoke, and bowed at His sound (MIC. 1:21-28; Lk. 8:22-25).

Boldness is a proof of your trust in God. You cannot trust Him and not be confident; and your confidence automatically reflects in your speech. The apostles wrought so many signs and wonders; they did not just speak, but were described as "speaking boldlyin the Lord" (Acts 14:3). This type of speech what commits God in your favour, causing Him to respond is
the signs and wonders.

Note that nothing enhances boldness like your depth of knowledge of God and His ways (Dan. 11:32). The more you know, the more you
increase in strength.
A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth . Proverbs 24:5

Miracle Words

Miracle words are drawn from a heart filled with the truth of the Word of God. Miracle words can only come out of miracle hearts. Jesus said in Matthew 12:34-35:
...Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things:

and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
The more you sit with the Word of God, the more life that comes out of you. Mary chose to sit at Jesus' feet to hear the Word, and He commended her for it (Lk. 10:38-42). You cannot fill your heart with words of abundance and divine health and still talk poverty and sickness. You need the Word of God in your heart to govern your situation in life.
It is time to take charge and command. You are equipped to set the pace for wonders in your life with the sound you produce, which in turn is a function of your depth in the word of God so, use your mouth and take charge !
