GETTING THINGS DONE.

TOPIC: Not Waiting For The Sensational
TEXT:(JOHN 20:29) Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

A young man hated everything about Jesus. His wife was a Christian but he would stop her from going to church.
One day, his wife went for a crusade without his consent close by. He was angry and stormed the hall, going through the crowd in search of his wife. Suddenly, a loud cry rent the air and everyone turned to see what had happened. They saw the man shouting, “He is real! He is real!” Apparently, Jesus had appeared to him and let him know his sins were forgiven.

It took a personal encounter from JESUS to make the man believe, but he didn’t have to wait to experience something that spectacular for him to believe, many who didn't have the privilege he had before they died are currently in hell, however good the story may be we should learn not to wait for the Sensational. It’s like the story of Thomas who didn’t believe the Lord had risen from the dead until He appeared to him and said, “Thomas, “Put your finger here and look at my hands! Put your hand into my side. Stop doubting and build your faith!” Thomas replied, “You are my Lord and my God!” Jesus said, “Thomas, do you have faith because you have seen me? The people who have faith in me without seeing me are the ones who are really blessed! (John 20:26-29 ).

You don’t have to wait to experience the spectacular before you believe God loves you and wants to fill your life with goodness. The only evidence you need is His Word, and that is why its called FAITH. Remember, the Bible says, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). Don’t wait to have your pocket or bank account filled with a lot of money before you declare your prosperity in Christ! Don’t wait for the symptoms to disappear before you proclaim your healing! Declare that you have life, health, peace and joy NOW, and your faith will produce results! Don't wait till you feel HOLY before you decide to work for God or be serious with the things of God. Don't wait for the Holyghost fall on you like it happened to the apostles before you believe that God knows you and to know that you are GROWING. With Patience and without complains Faith produces results.

The basic thing is to understand that FAITH is all it takes to please God and Experience can not create true faith.... ONLY THE WORD OF GOD can!
