The world as we know it, has always been filled with terrible people. That much is certain. And also, there are people who have been hurt by terrible people and they are the victims.
So basically, a victim is a person who has been harmed, mistreated, or suffered an accident either physically, mentally or emotionally.
But here is an idea I believe must be discussed....
Does the fact that a person is a victim of one circumstance mean that the person is incapable of evil? Also does the fact that a person is guilty of a crime or something, mean that he is incapable of good?
This is a thought that I believe must be acted upon and looked at critically. Why should a person be given the tag of a victim althrough his/her life and another the tag of an abuser for the rest of his life.
The reason for these questions, is that I believe that, we as individuals, more so, Christians , should not have a tag for a person. We should avoid defining a person by a particular incident in their life. Especially when the person is trying to make a change for the better, whether the person is a victim, or an offender.
The problem of this attitude of tagging people is the reason why some people are excused for their wrongdoings and not brought to justice. And also it is the reason why, others are seen in a bad light regardless of how much good they try to do, prior to the fact that dey have done evil things in the past.
One of the reasons why I have an issue with people with such views is because, a person who has been a victim of a certain incident and be a perpetrator of another incident, but because of the fact that he was a victim of an initial one, he might be viewed as a victim, even though he is unrepentant for his crime and vice versa.
The reason I choose to discuss on this is to encourage everyone of us to keep an open mind and to avoid giving people a particular tag based on their circumstance in life, rather, look at people based on the choices they made in life.

The world is turning into a place where people would rather choose to let their circumstance shape them rather than shape it themselves and as a result everyone is looking for who to blame in their lives rather than take responsibility. Thanks for the awesome writeup.
