Leviticus 6: 24-30
24 God also ordered Moses
25 to give the priests the following instructions:
"The animal that I am offered to ask for forgiveness for sin must be killed on my altar, the same place where the animals that are burned in my honor are killed.
26 The priest who presents this offering will eat part of it in the courtyard of the sanctuary, which is the place set apart for that.
27-30 »If something comes into contact with this offering, it will be considered as special as her.
»If the meat of the animal offered is cooked in a clay pot, it will have to be broken at the end of the ceremony. If it is cooked in a bronze pot, the pot should be scraped and washed with water.
»If the blood of the animal splashes a priest's costume, the spotted part will have to be washed in a special place.
"If the blood is taken to the sanctuary to ask for my forgiveness, it will not be able to eat the meat; It will have to be burned.
»This is a special offering, and only priests can eat it.
The holy blood.
Jesus gave his life on the cross taking the sins of humanity. He offered himself as an offering before God's. Christians have been redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ and purified and justified by Him. The atoning sacrifice was holy. The sin offering is slaughtered before Jehovah. The priest eats it in the holy place, in the Tabernacle atrium: the only ones who could eat of the offering of expiation are the priests, children of Aaron, separated and purified by God for the special ministry that God found for him. If the blood splashes on the garment, it should be washed in the holy place. *** Blood symbolizes life and bloodstains imply contaminating holiness. The Christian must honor the precious blood of Jesus Christ leading a holy and pure life.
The believer must offer his life as a holy offering to God, turning away from the unclean things that the world offers. > Filth can not coexist with holiness. If the priest boiled the meat in clay pot, it should be broken, since the fat and the smell of the holocaust could be penetrated into the mud, and by placing another food in the pot, this new one could be contaminated. In the same way we as believers, if we mix with the unclean things of the world, we can become contaminated with sin. If the meat has been cooked in a bronze container, it can be ** scrubbed and washed with water "for other uses, since the bronze does not have absorption properties and the waste or fat of the holocaust can be completely removed from the container. ** This statute aims to preserve life in holiness, as a chosen people, Christians must offer to God a sanctified life, away from the world, so as not to contaminate.
The blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, was the blood shed to cover all sins.
There is a very famous novel that talks about the growth of a child named Jody, a child who adopts and cares very fondly of a deer called Flag; But as he grew, the seed of Jody's father was eaten and Jody told him that he would have to kill Jody because he was destroying the cornfield. Jody gets very angry, yells at the father and leaves the house. The young man experiences days of hunger and loneliness. In the end, Jody can not stand it anymore and go home. But due to his departure, he finds his home a disaster. The father is about to die, because he had not endured the sadness of his son's departure. To think that my father was waiting for me with a lot of love! Because that's how he got it. Everyone, like this young man, passed through the age of immaturity where we commit sin before Jehovah. The good thing is that he sent his son to die for us. God the Father redeemed our sins through the blood of Jesus Christ, and never remembers our sins because they have already been forgiven.
