Biblical facts about inheritance (it is your inheritance)

Reading passage Gal. 4:1-17, Psa. 136:21-22

KJV:And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Introduction
An inheritance is that which is received or gotten from a predecessor or forbear who could be a grand parents, parents, elder siblings, senior officer etc. It is the right of heir (to possess) a wealth or title from an ancestor; it is the ownership or succession by heredity. From the physical (biologically), social and spiritual points of view, we as human beings inherit many things consciously or unconsciously, willingly and unwillingly . Biologically, we inherit characteristics such as complexion, height, etc; socially/legally, we inherit landed property, positions, names, fundamental Human Rights, etc; spiritually, we inherit God's promises, blessings/curses. Some forfeit their rightful inheritance due to ignorance, oppression, etc. This study shall expose us to our Biblically approved inheritances and show us the basic facts about our inheritances in God.

Some biblically approved inheritances
. The kingdom of heaven - to spend eternity with him John 3:3.
. Answers to prayers Jer.33:3
. Protection Isa. 54:17
. Prosperity psalm 1:3
. Biological blessings - children psalm 127:3
. General material blessings/promise in the Bible Deut.28:1-13, psalm 136:21-22

Point 2
Basic biblical facts about inheritances
. They are sorrow - free ( after all) psalm 16:5-6, proverbs 10:22
. They can be handed over to the succeeding generation proverbs 13:22Level. 25:46
. There are no racial/tribal or gender biases in possessing them. Gal. 3:29, John 1:12
. They are sustained by obedience. Deut. 28:14
. They are for his children. John 1:12, Gal. 3:29
. They can be forfeited by disobedience. 1 Samuel 13:13-14

Conclusion
Having realized our inheritances in God and basic facts about them, God would expect us to rise to our responsibility by working to possess those inheritances as he has approved for us.
