Welcome back once again in my agricultural content. today I m going to discuss about harvest abundance project.

Harvest Abundance Project !

The only project harvest abundance late summer and early fall, paired with frantic food preservation was planned for the present winter months. Since the project began, June 1st, 2017, we have not set foot in a grocery store. We have committed to buying all of our produce, grains, flour, and pulses from local growers who contribute to both human and environmental #health by choosing to grow organically.

When we started this project, we initially made the commitment to exclusively buy local for one full calendar year as an intentional act to support and promote the amazing work of sask #farmers producing nourishing plantbased foods...but it's safe to say that this project has become a lifestyle that we will continue into the foreseeable future.

Through this project we have connected with many wonderful, passionate, caring individuals and have felt our hearts and our community grow immensely. One of these amazing families.

we have become very close to run the incredible Pick Me Produce farm Northwest of #swiftcurrent, where we are not only greeted by an abundance of fresh, beautiful produce with each visit, but also a genuine warmth and kindness that can only come from really getting to know the folks who grow our food.

That being said, access to healthy, plant based foods is a privilege that many around the world do not have as a result of the corporatization of food and food systems that value profits over persons (nonhuman and human) or the planet. So, that is why we also view The MicroRanch's Local Only project as a political act...in support of local growers, local communities and #healthyfood for all. And why we will always have space at the table for anyone in need of a meal.
