Introducing #steemclassics!

A brand new category where anyone can present and recommend any type of cultural work that THEY deem to be a classic, for all of us to learn about and enjoy. It will also serve as a sort of archive for the future, containing anything that is considered a 'classic' in the world of steem.

Sharing works of art that are important to oneself is a beautiful way to share experiences with each other, especially over the internet where we normally don't meet face to face. In return we get to discover and experience artworks that we'd probably never been exposed to otherwise.

An archive for recommendations

It is my firm belief that each and every one of us know about some amazing stuff that the rest of us don't. SteemClassics is an attempt to provide an arena for presenting those hidden gems and put them in the spotlight.

I will personally be curating all posts in the category, and it's my hope that others will join in as this hopefully grows. In the meantime I will try to post at least one classic a week, and I'm very excited to see, hear and read about what you all have to share.

Guidelines

  • Use tag steemclassics (doesn't have to be the first tag)
  • ANY type of cultural work can be presented however you choose.
  • As a minimum, say something about why you picked this particular piece and why you recommend it.
  • Optional: Format your post title to start with "SteemClassics: " or something similar
  • Optional: Link back to this post.
