"coercive education" You Say? Perhaps read this: Why it Won't Work People are most often governed by self interest, as those interest align with the general community they are accepted or rejected. Respect is the freedom to act in a civil discourse, without the moderation of restraint. Do you pose your "Softer Learning" as pink fur on a hard stick, or am I trespassing my "liberties" in saying this?
You said, "some people don't want to learn and will continuously trespass their liberties and thus will find themselves prohibited form this environment, luckily so as it is a much softer learning for them than most anywhere else!" Your comments sound Marxist in value. Security Guards often feel empowered to over-step their need or importance. Then again, Wal-Mart is always hiring.
Does "being civil" mean that one will respect the other people involved in the discussion? If so, then I agree that it can be done without moderation because this would imply that we are witnessing two or more individuals being moderate with each other. We can argue all we want without having any disrespect toward one another.
This said, I experience enough people not willing to do so voluntarily needing to be taught respect by others while still being respectful of the human potential of everyone around them. what would you suggest we do as a society to deal with this unwillingness to respect others, and by the same token themselves?
The Pink fur of Steemit platform has a much smaller footprint than that of everyday street level life hard stick. On this platform, the worse that can happen to someone is to be "nuked" out of the platform, I doubt that the crowd on the street would stop at such a kind boot... So, to answer your question, you are not trespassing your liberties, though your tone seem heavy and hard, am I wrong in feeling this???
I hope this brings in light the moderate nature of my comment to this matter. Have a wonderful day, keep your smile and namaste :)

You are not wrong in feeling this, it is my point. "Tip of the Spear" response when people us 'soft' words to hide their aggression. Words like "nuked" come to mind....Why is that? :) I wont believe that @steemcleaners has a productive benefit in "Tag Moderation". What benefit to date has Steem-Gleeners had other than account accumulation to effect such 'Street level life' here as dealing with @a$$hole? None. Yet it is easy to 'slap' the individual in the schoolyard, then confront the Bully. No?

Luckily for you, I am far from being aggressive of meaning to move in that direction. LOL!!! Sadly though, this is where you are at. I'm sorry to read this. The word "nuke' come from the pseudo-technical term used when people are being eradicated from/taken off the platform because of their constant abuse and harassment of other. It really has nothing to do with me. :)
The talks in relation to the bot account @asshole involves much more than only the @steemcleaners as it is a bot matter that yet has a much deeper source as I'm sure you would understand. Since, it is not someone who could possibly affect the platform much, while still being annoying and prickly, doesn't have much power to affect much change for someone really interested in reading about the matters. the rise of the bots on the platform is in itself a wider issue that will end up finding a resolution equivalently wide and specific to the bots issues.
Maybe you could talk moderately with the people of @steemcleaner to be able to learn from their end what is their point of view and what is the legitimacy of their concerns with you as it seems to be the matter here. I wish you will find a creative and good will in helping this matter find a positive solution for all concerned. All for one and one for all! Namaste :)
