Steemcleaner Report for the Week of Aug 29 — Sept 4, 2016 Part 1

We moved to a new reporting platform the beginning of this week and are still working out the kinks in reporting. The platform and format will make it easier to get reports out in a more timely manner once we agree on where to put notes/comments!

Plagiarism in new accounts is still the number one problem that we see daily. We want to thank everyone for being vigilant and reporting posts as you find them.

@steemcleaners has been working with the members of #steemitabuse-classic to combat the recent problem of @r4fken and other accounts randomly flagging users. New users are the most vulnerable right now. Please, if you see a new user post that does not contain abuse that has been hidden by flags, upvote it. If you don’t have enough voting weight to make the post visible visit #steemitabuse-classic for help. If no one is available, please leave a message. You can also tag @steemcleaners in a comment for this as well.

If you feel that a comment left on your blog post or a flag was unwarranted, you may respond to a comment from @steemcleaners or speak with someone in #steemitabuse-appeals

        Thanks for this very important work. Seems to be a fulltime job working through the many posts that arrive daily at Steemit, but it is appreciated.
