Steemcleanrs actions may be illegal under Ohio law

Getting harassing comments on your posts from steemcleaners? Live in Ohio? Well I did some reasearch after getting these comments on my newslink posts that actually followed all of steemcleaners guidelines. I know those guidelines as I used to be a member. Well my research turned up something interesting. Under the Ohio Revised Code section 2917.21 unwanted and harassing comments are illegal. This means steemcleaners actions may be criminal. Fruthermore I also found another section of the law that deals with potential lost income from those actions. As I treat steem as an investment their comments preventing votes and flagging of posts may also be a civil offense.

If @steemcleaners doesn't not stop their harassment on posts of any account I own, co-own, or have posting keys to I will consider taking legal action. If posts are not unflagged by Monday I will be contacting my attorney. The abuse by this group needs to be put in check.

Live in Ohio and getting harassed? I suggest you look into this. Don't live in Ohio? Check your local cyber harassment laws. While Ohio has one of the most broad definitions of cyber harassment it has been upheld by Federal courts. Your state may have similar laws.

Could you give example of harassment for those who haven't been following?

Spamming my posts with their BS steemcleaners copy/paste warming when the posts fit all guidelines and haven't changed format in nearly 3 years. These unwanted comments are considered harassment under Ohio law. They also started flagging them. Basically they are using everything I built up to attack me with now. Guess forcing me out wasn't good enough they want me off of steem entirely.

Good luck on wasting your money, You don't make enough off steem for it to require legal help. Especially since I don't believe the owner lives in the usa.

Criminal charges don't require money. Some layers also take cases pro bono.

Not for something like this, or for people who live across the planet or in countries that don't listen to US authority.

They do when they are family friends.
