I made that mistake today with too much delegated SP to upvotebot
2500 steempower is what I should delegate to upvotebot, I was too fast and press enter in steemconnect.
Afterwards I saw that I had delegated 25000 SP to upvotebot.
So be sure to read everything before you press enter even if you are in a hurry.
I have now corrected the mistake I made
It will take 7 days before I get my Steempower back and have full power again:
Delegators can cancel their delegation at any time but they will get back their SP only after a cool-down period of 7 days. The 7 day cool-down period is to avoid double voting with the same SP.

You are tottaly right. We must be careful to click or pust enter button. fortunatelly you has correct it although you must wait for a week. I hope your SP is not dissappear. this platform will keep every activities, or transaction.
Your post make me more careful because I have experience with too fast pust enter or click, although it isn't related with money or steem. When I was very new in steemit, I fill tag and automatically in tag present tags which I used befor. Thees tags include introduceyoursef. It happened because I don't understand well. So when I didn't give attention better, then I push enter, and the affect is @cheetah come to me, then @steemcleaner come too.
So your warning is very useful for us.
