Introduction
My humble greetings to all parishioners and apostles of the @steemchurch, and to you @sirknight.
We all are aware that the @steemcourt which was created by @sirknight is here to preceed over legal matters on the steemit blockchain. If you haven't read the introductory post... click here to read
Looking at the statistics of the blockchain users, the workload the court will have to attention to will be enormous.. This implies that there has to be a well organised Judge and Jury system or else, verdicts may become irrelevant or even bias. This off course will affect the credibility and dependability of the court especially on repeated occasions.
The court does not have the trust of the community yet which is not far fetched as the court is still new.
A system structure whereby verdicts will be commensurate with offenses, where laydown procedures will be followed to accertain guilty or innocence and even on settlement; a court that is able to deliver justice at all cost and still be able to implement them is what will command trust!
Here's my proposed system!
●The Judges
●The Jury
Jury-disputes
Jury-abuse
Jury-plagiarism/copyright
Jury-support
Jury-appeal
●The legislature.
The Judges.
The judges will handle the job of interpreting and court management. They will attend to cases presented by the Jury, do a vigorous cross examination and give a final verdict. Our noble @sirknight and @hboi will do great Jobs here! But they will need assistance.
The Jury.
I decided to break the jury into abuse, disputes, plagiarism/copyright, support and appeals.
The Jury-abuse:
The Jury abuse will handle cases of abuse on the blockchain. Strictly abuses; comment abuses, direct abuses, tag abuses etc!
For instance, a user who is flagged for abusing a tag and thinks he was flagged wrongly will be heard and looked into by the Jury-abuse.The Jury-plagiarism/copyright:
Will handle cases paterning to plagiarism and copyright. If one feels he was wrongly accused of plagiarism, the case will be brought to the Jury-plagiarism/copyright for thorough investigation before a final verdict by the Judges! The Jury-support:
On the event that a user has questions as regards the steemcourt; cases meant to address, necessary actions, curious questions... the Jury-support will spearhead!
This Jury will prevent calling on the Judges or other Jury arms for just minor questions. The Jury-appeal:
If a user (steemian) feels he was judged wrongly or feels his punishment was too drastic and needs to be reviewed, the Jury-appeals hears him out and will communicate the Judge.
The legislature
The legislature will work directly on the orders of the Judges. After a thorough case review, which will be done by the appropriate Jury body based on laydown procedures and criteria, the final verdict of the Judges will guide the legislature on how to act.
With this system, the workload wouldn't be too concentrated and will create room for better case handling. The discord channel will be a prerequisite for this system to function well.
cheers
Omonosa!
I will consider this as you reading the mind of the court, with the court objectives which doesn't seem to be an easy work for the court, the court is planning on setting different organs and your breakdown will indeed serve as a support. Thank you for this contribution @omonosa.

This is one fantastic judicial structure you have erected, you're so right, I think this areas you've mentioned, really has to be looked into, abuse of tags, plagiarism, stolen contents, and if you ask me, I'd say even comment rephrasal in other to get upvotes.
The beauty of steemcourt will be splendid can you imagine if also the jury appeal exist, it will give people the opportunity to appeal their cases, should there be substantial evidences to back them up
Of courses we will need steemcourt lawyers and attorney as well people versed in the steemchurch court law, this will facilitate beautiful and unbiased rulings and of course steemchurch will be justice oriented and inclined.
You're one amazing guy, this is such a beauty

Beautiful suggestions. I guess since it's a community project it makes your suggestions possible. Division of labour is good, but when there is not enough manpower it is quite challenging.

You did a great job by coming up with this @omonosa
With the presence of these juries, there will be law and order. @sirknight really care much about this community before coming up with @steemcourt to adjudicate on matters pertaining to the blockchain.
@steemcourt will surely achieve its aim with the help of this.
