how do i disconnect my steem account from the server?

    You can completly disconnect using SteemConnect, you can read that here: https://steemit.com/steemit/@lolicorn/how-to-revoke-posting-permissions-for-steem-apps-via-steemconnect.
    If you want to disable the voting trail, which pays you to use your votes, you can do that by simply typing /steem toggle on the server.
