The four seasons of your Bitcoin marriage!

Have you heard someone recommending you to know your future spouse for at least one year so that you can see them in all the different seasons of the year before you eventually marry them? Or have you heard the joke telling about the four cycles of life? The first one is when you believe in Santa Claus. The second is when you don't believe in Santa Claus. The third is when you are Santa Claus. The final is when you look like Santa Claus!

But, now it is time to take a closer look at the four seasons of Bitcoin, something that will prepare you for a marriage and a life together that might not always be as easy as one would think!

The first stage - Bitcoin is a scam...

Many people will first hear about Bitcoin and believe it to be a scam, or at least some messed up digital money that is used to fund terrorism or to play poker online. Who would ever want to pay thousands of dollars to get hold of something that you cannot even hold in your hand? Most people consider Bitcoin to be something negative or something only for crazy people when they first hear about it. So, what is more reasonable than to join the group? When you are a part of this group, you will also be amazed at all the junk-heads worldwide who are actually spending money on buying this and other cryptocurrencies. How is it even possible that someone would pay 14,000 USD for nothing?

The second stage - Come on, let's give it a try...

Your colleague at work, your annoying neighbor, and even the local newspaper that you don't read have been reporting about the Bitcoin prices flying again. Even though you hate to hear about it, you still feel a certain attraction to the subject. If so many people have bought Bitcoin and gotten rich because of it, why shouldn't I give it a try as well? And it will be so boring on the Christmas dinner with all your colleagues when they all speak about the awesome future of Bitcoin and all their investments, and you have nothing to say. Hopefully, the Christmas dinner will be canceled due to COVID-19 this year, but no matter what - it would be much easier to stay alive if you simply invited Bitcoin into your life and gave it a chance.

The third stage - Bitcoin is messing up my life!

First, I didn't want anything to do with Bitcoin. Then I decided to finally buy some. And now, my life has been messed up. I am waking up in the middle of the night, and I take a look at my phone to see if it has made any sudden movements while I have been sleeping for some hours. Then when it is time to wake up in the morning, I wake up getting an alert that Bitcoin has dropped a lot, more than 800 USD in the last hour! What a nightmare? How am I gonna be able to go to work feeling like this? I should have sold it all yesterday, and if I had done that, I could have bought 5% more Bitcoin today. How could I have been so stupid? Why didn't I just say thank you and sell when it reached the level at which it was yesterday? I should have been satisfied and taken profit. But, no - I just wanted more! And now it is for sure gonna hit 0 USD within a few weeks, and I have lost a lot of money! Maybe I should sell it now? It has dumped a lot, but what if it will dump even more?

I sold it... I am happy that I did... at least I was, for 2 days. And then in a time frame of 10 hours, Bitcoin suddenly jumped 1500 USD, making it reach a new all time high in 2020!!! I can't believe it. If I had sold earlier, and bought myself back in after it fell 800 USD in value, and then sold it again now, I would have been so rich that I would have been really satisfied. Why didn't I do that?

The fourth stage - Bitcoin is King, forget about the rest!

It might take some years for you to get to this level, but once in your lifetime, you will hopefully get there. You remember the movie director James Cameron, who always walked around with ugly t-shirts? How come? He was James Cameron, and as a result, he could behave and dress in a certain way. And once, you will get to the point where you understand that Bitcoin is Bitcoin, and it can behave and do exactly as it feels like. You will not be able to tell it what to do, instead, you need to accept your position in the game. Bitcoin is the king, and you are, at best, a walker!

This is actually the most peaceful position of the four stages. Here you trust that everything is okay, and that you don't have to worry, because the king will win in the end, no matter how much pain he might seem to be in at times. You will still experience those roller coaster rides and emotional storms, but even though the wind is blowing, you know that the king has you in the palm of his hand, and you will end up victorious in the end!

All I can say is, try to enjoy the ride! It is a windy experience, but if you decide to enter a covenant with Bitcoin, you better be prepared for what lies ahead!
