The art of being alone without feeling lonely is practically extinct. Apparently, loneliness was the first emotion experienced by Adam. God saw that it was something so serious that he said: "IT IS NOT GOOD THAT THE MAN IS ONLY". (Gen. 2: 18)
The loneliness appears suddenly in any field, in singles, divorced, widowed and even married.
Fortunately the Bible teaches us how to handle loneliness, as a normal part of human existence.
It also tells us how we can invade the loneliness of others with a true Christian love.
** THE LONELINESS IS A HUMAN EXPERIENCE (1a R. 19: 2-4, SALT 27: 9-11)**
A. The experience of Elias reveals that we can all see ourselves at a particular moment alone, afflicted and desperate. (1a R. 19: 2-4,10)
B. David experienced this feeling (Psalm 38:11, Ps. 102: 7)
C. Jesus prophesied that they would leave him alone (John 16:32)
D. The Apostle Paul also experienced it. (2 Timothy 4:16)
SOLITUDE IS ANGUSTIOUS.
A. David cried out from the cave. "THERE IS NO ONE WHO TAKES CARE OF MY LIFE" (Psalm 142: 3-5)
B. Jesus cried out from the Garden (Matthew 26: 38-40)
C. Jesus cried out from the cross. (Mt 27: 46)
STEPS TO FACE SOLITUDE.
A. Accept it as a normal reaction.
B. Detect the factors that make it appear:
- Loss of a loved one or friendship.
- Thoughts that govern our mind.
- Rejection of people, etc.
C. Cultivate the presence of God in our lives (There are many quotes that support this truth).
D. We are support for those who feel alone.
E. Hold firm the confidence that God will not leave us, nor forsake us. (Heb 13: 5-6)
CONCLUSION:
Let Jesus be your inseparable companion on the road.

Many times in solitude is where our heart is sensitive to the voice of God, in solitude God can show the great and hidden things that we do not know, this is the kind of solitude where the stillness of the soul exists. Thank you for your teaching that God bless you
