fees for developing steemapps on github

I want to program a game for kids at schools on the steem blockchain. I have no experience in programming. I want to use python. What fees must a developer pay to use the github platform? Fees to start? Fees to register a app? Fees to ask for help? Any fees I am not aware off such as hosting fees? Must one use another server to host the app?
