A refreshing morning at the Doma Initiative breakfast club in Bangsar. Here, I get to listen to POW Ideas which their project get to exhibit in the Venice Art Bienalle. The name of the project was Gerai Tai Tai, a Pasar malam type stall which provides fortune telling service to the customers. The design of the stall is very localized and minimalist which they cleverly created a partially open space for the private consulting session. They even get the opportunity to exhibit at the Venice Bienalle!
Next up was Pamela who is an architect as well as an artist in nature. She had successfully completed two installation named Eden and another one was for Oppo. Her design was based on deep study of different components that inspire her to fit in the theme and function. What I loved most is that she included the materials consideration as well as the reusability. This had increase the value of the installation especially the life time. Both speakers inspired me in many ways which I can include the considerations in my future design decisions.
