Yesterday was a bit challenging due to the scorching sun in my locality.
Also, I had to shuttle back and forth to the village to care for a loved one who is dealing with health issues.
Unfortunately, the situation has become more complicated, I now have 3 people on sick bed.
It's a crazy world that have nothing to offer!
But despite all these distractions, I have to finish what I started which is the solar project, it's not easy with all these distractions but I have to finish it up and hand over the project.
And today's business...?
While trying to install the solar PV stand, there were a lot of errors as well. And there were a lot corrections and ammendments from my welder.
My job was just to supervise and comment where necessary for adjustment. I had already given him the measurements and dimensions.
We tried it first yesterday and continue today.
Actually, what we did yesterday was to cut the pipes to to my desired measurements. This part was much of calculations. Each hole were placed at their appropriate
Each hole was bored at it's appropriate spot to match the panel's placements. Same thing applies to thighthening of the frames.
I used a hard wood, as a matter of fact, one of the best strong word in my locality (rafter) as the top base.
These woods were also treated and coated with some substance to repel insects. The honest truth is that insects can't still bite it due to how strong it is.
Most big homes use this for their solar PV and it has lasted for many years.
Most people use it to cut the cost of iron. Iron are very expensive and some of them aren't strong enough to withstand rust.
We digged about 2 and a half feet for each of the base. As for the base, we used 2 inches galvanize pipe.
We made the base to be 4. This will help the structure to be balance.
To further make the stand to be firm, we mixed 1 bag of cement with some gravels and it was all set.
By tomorrow, we would connect the 4 bases using 1-inch angle iron.
Next would be installation of the panels and the entire system.
This part would take place by tomorrow..
So far, this is the stage I have reach in this project.
Great to see the project moving forward

My sympathy on the health challenges of your family members. From my end, finishing what you started and giving the best shows how selfless you are. It's quite commendable.
