@kinzaghauri's Birthday

Despite her busy schedule with work and household responsibilities and her not being able to be active on Steemit, we still want to wish @kinzaghauri a very happy birthday, filled with happiness and peace for the coming year.

She is truly a remarkable woman. Although I often encourage her to return to Steemit and share posts occasionally, her packed schedule really doesn’t allow her the time, and I fully understand. Managing both work duties and household responsibilities can be overwhelming, and it's something I've come to appreciate more as I’ve seen it firsthand. It’s incredible to see how well she balances everything, even though it’s not easy. Kudos to all the mothers out there who have been juggling such responsibilities for an eternity. They truly deserve all the appreciation in the world.

@kinzaghauri married into a household where she was surrounded by brothers, without any other women in the family. I can only imagine how nerve-wracking that must have been for her! Adjusting to a new home is never easy, and it comes with its own set of challenges. I still remember one particular conversation we had that reflects how differently we approached things. She asked me why the TV remote was always on the sofa, and I casually responded by saying, "Where else should it be?" From my perspective, having the remote right there on the sofa makes it convenient. When I sit down, it’s right within reach, and I don’t have to move around to find it. But she didn’t agree. According to her, the remote’s proper place was on the TV table. I have to respectfully disagree, but it’s funny how such little details became part of our household dynamics.

We had similar differences regarding my shoes. I kept them by the main door so that I could quickly put them on before heading out in the morning, but she disagreed with this as well.

This was her first birthday with us, a special one because her previous birthdays were celebrated elsewhere. Being new to our family traditions, it was an exciting experience for her. As with all family members' birthdays, we went out to celebrate with dinner, and we did the same for her, making it a memorable day.

To continue with our eating out on a birthday family traditions we took her to one of the best restaurants in Karachi, ie, Kebabjees. There we ordered some desi cuisines, which included the one meter long kebab, Chicken Handi, Makhni Daal a cake and a Qunafa.

Tbh, the addiction of eating a qunafa has been instilled in all our family members due to our life in Saudi Arabia. What is a Qunafa?

Qunafa is a traditional Middle Eastern dessert made from thin shredded pastry called kataifi or fine semolina dough. It's typically layered with cheese, such as Nabulsi or Akkawi, and soaked in a sweet sugar syrup flavored with rose water or orange blossom water. Some variations include a filling of nuts or cream. The dish is baked until golden and crispy on top, while the cheese or filling becomes warm and gooey. Kunafa is often served as a celebratory dish during festivals or special occasions, especially in the Levant region and Egypt.

If any of you would like to send her birthday wishes, I’d be more than happy to pass them along. And if anyone can offer some extra encouragement to convince her to keep blogging from time to time, I’ll make sure to deliver that message as well. She already has quite a lot on her plate, and I completely understand that, but it would be amazing to read more of her thoughts and ideas whenever she finds the time.

Hello @huzaifanaveed1

I enjoyed reading your post and how you're encouraging @kinzaghauri's return to the platform.

I see why the remote control may be better in a central place so it can be found easily, but I'm not so clear about not leaving the shoes by the front door. Can you tell us where she'd leave her shoes ?

Anyhow please pass on my best wishes to @kinzaghauri on her birthday.

Thank you. I've forwarded your wish to her. She was very happy.

Can you tell us where she'd leave her shoes

In the shoe rack..

Thank you @irawandedy
