Most of you might have already taken a glimpse on the amazing news of Smart Media Tokens, which shall be introduced to the Steem Blockchain at the beginning of 2018. In case you didn´t hear about it yet or are looking for further details, then you might like to take a look on the official Website https://smt.steem.io/ or the Whitpaper, which is linked there accordingly.

Besides those amazing news you might as well have encountered some smaller design changes on Steemit, which will probably just continue to spread on a regular basis due to the increased efforts Steemit.inc is putting into the Platform these days. The Background Banners on the Profile page was most likely just the beginning of a huge transformation.

Further the @Steemit account powered up about 5 Million Steem to @Misterdelegation, who already delegated about 1 Million SP to @Steemcleaners and another 500k SP to @sndbox. It seems to be an initiative to support some of the great Projects happening on Steemit and will for sure lead to a benefit of the whole Community.

But all that is still not enough as we may soon see a Steemit App to be launched, like it has been announced last month by @steemitblog. I´m really curious to get my hands on it as soon as it´s available as that might ease the usage of Steemit on the go significantly.
