if I were a street person thinking about the collective money poit and my share, id think....This is some bullshit that we are all having to basically virtually pay an inflation tax now to help pay for people's plane tickets to an event that will not help steem at all.
But it just bothers me that the last steemfest in 2017, we were promised by @sneak - the previous steemit inc CTO - that we would have a steemit Mobile App by 2018, and its ridiculous that they never delivered ANy steem infrastructure desktop or mobile.... They leave people like ME to create forks of @vessel or update @vessel since @jesta had NO CHOICE but to spend HIS valuable time developing @greymass for EOS which COULD have had steem integration IF steemit inc had REACHED OUT and PAID him like I screamed out , but alas, no one listens to good, nay, NECESSARY ideas.Its like I SHOULD be in charge of steemit inc sometimes. But theyd have to pay me more than they even have if they wanted me to consult for them. @elipowell is not even presenta nd I doubt she cares or id really in charge. I feel bad for her because she was put up to this by @ned and I have no idea how they met but she can't possibly be ready for the trolling of this many internet keyboard warriors... they will make fun of her like ned scott and she may not like it as much... they are more cruel to women, the 4chan types... deep fakes are a bitch too and its gonna be difficult to put up with all the videos showing ned and eli having sex with porn deep fakes LOL, but it can happen. Shes a public figure, and i dont think shes ready. I feel bad for Elip, ned didnt explain to her what he got her into. She needs to step down and let someone with more internet experience step in and she can just be an investor off onm teh sidelines. She is not a woman who can handle these nerds. and proves they just cant do one simple thing for steem infrastructure. People should pay for their own damn vacations. Steemfest serves a tiny minority of steemians and leaves everyone else out. Its a nasty excersize in centralization and we should discourage these events that leave ALL of us out.
People like me and 99.9% of others dont benefit from steemfest when we do all teh work to help keep steem at the price its at
Without me and others like myself, we would have nothing to keep the current whales from dumping the rest of their steem
Also, EOS has been cleared by the SEC as much as it can, but steem hasnt been so I dont see how SMTs can exist legally for Americans and how KYC wont also be a thing for SMts. I dont think people should be this excited for SMTs when steemit icn is too scared to even role out any products because of legal concerns, and ned isnt even here hes off building on EOS trying to get steem devs to come work with him :D ned will probably come back when steem is high enough. IF this bull run continues
I believe this steem market rally is simply a few whales trying to pump steem one last time but we will all have a chance to dump and get out when steem is high enough. There is No garuntee we can get back to $1 because who would buy steem now? Buy steem why to use it and get flagged oen day for self upvoting when the downvote union decides THAT is no good too?
