After @roelandp announced the details of the Steemfest3 we were instantly conflicted because Mike and I both really wanted to go. But it's exactly between a wedding and Mike's brother's 40th Birthday and we long planned to travel to the USA for these events. So we loved hearing the rumors of a possible @steemfest in America to combine all! When the news broke about SF3 we were first bummed out about this year's location: Kraków. Which looks like an amazing city but at first it looked like it wouldn't be possible to go.
Now after a day we did some thinking and we came to a decision, Mike is going to the wedding and I'll (Jürgen) attend Steemfest and then fly from there to the USA, so I at least don't miss the big birthday. But after missing the Steemfest in Lisbon by two weeks I didn't want miss out on this one. Especially since I think they're going to announce something big like SMT ...!

I'll be also representing @travelfeed and some others of the team will be attending, right now there are some good chances of @rimicane (pretty much confirmed) @guchtere and even maybe @mrprofessor is going to come all the way from Brazil. If there is enough interest we might think of organizing a little TravelFeed Meet-up during Steemfest, if there is enough interest.

On any date with cheap flights. For now, I've got to sell some stuff to gather some money; some of the guys sugested a Patreon but I feel very shy asking for something like that.
The small amount of money on my bank account now is spared to live life, something around 400 USD, that will be used to cover costs, but for sure can't be used to buy tickets.

I can take time off, I still have a lot of vacation time left this year. I actually checked skyscanner right away and flights from Manila is 49k php or almost 1k usd :o It would be really awesome if there will be sponsors! Would love to meet you too! :)

Oh shoot - I just saw there is a price tag attached to attend @steemfest - last year the smallest ticket price was 222.22 Euros - I have no problem to pay for the flight and for accommodating but not sure if I can wing that on top of it. Let's see. Steemfest is a constant roller coaster ride of emotions.
