🐻 🎳 Bear Bowling Cup at Steemfest3 - Team Germany won🏆 🙌 [EN/DE]

What do you want me to say? ... An event of the absolute superlative. Already when the Bearbowling Event was announced by @roelandp before the SteemFest3, I was on fire with the newly met Steemians to throw some cool balls and shoot the pins away.

So when @roelandp presented the program on conference day 1 in the morning, he invited us to take the shuttle buses from the conference hall to the Pink Bowling Club in the evening. Of course, we also accepted this invitation in order not to miss this great event.

Was soll ich sagen? ... Ein Event der superlative. Schon als das Bearbowling Event von @roelandp vor dem SteemFest3 angekündigt wurde, war ich Feuer und Flamme mit den frisch kennengelernten Steemians ein paar coole Kugeln zu werfen und die Pins weg zu ballern.

Als also @roelandp am Konferenztag 1 morgens das Programm vorgestellt hat, hat er uns dazu eingeladen mit den Shuttle-Bussen abends von der Konferenzhalle gemeinsam zum Pink-Bowling Club zu fahren. Dieser Einladung sind wir natürlich auch gefolgt um das großartige Event nicht zu verpassen.

Arriving at the location we walked in a team through a huge shopping centre. Of course this was already closed so that the only guests on site were mostly Steem users. The entrance to the Pink Bowling Club is on the first floor. We already had to cover a good distance. Arriving at the club we first went to the information desk to pick up our shoes. The rush was enormous but @roelandp and the team of the Bowling Club did a really great job. Then we distributed specially made Zloty stamps so that we could get free drinks at the bar.

Bei der Location angekommen sind wir in gesammelter Mannschaft quer durch ein riesen Einkaufszentrum gelaufen. Natürlich war dieses schon geschlossen so dass die einzigen Gäste die vor Ort waren größtenteils Steem Nutzer. Der Eingang zum Pink Bowling Club liegt in der ersten Etage. Wir mussten schon eine gute Strecke zurück legen. Im Club angekommen ging es erstmal an die Informations-Theke um sich seine Schuhe abzuholen. Der Ansturm war enorm aber @roelandp und das Team vom Bowling Club haben da einen echt super Job gemacht. Dann wurden noch extra angefertigte Zloty Marken verteilt damit wir uns kostenfreie Getränke an der Bar besorgen konnten.

After everyone got their shoes, we were allowed to play warm on the 16 lanes. About 20 minutes later Roelandp introduced the teams and the rules. At that time @ned also ran briefly through the picture and I took the chance to wish him at least once a nice evening bowling and to take him briefly in his arms. When the tournament started the pairings had to arrive at the lanes and start bowling. After 15 minutes, the team that knocked over the most pins won. The team leader then had to go to the DJ and announce who the winning team was. So it went on and on until finally only 3 teams were left and in the final game (which was a complete game without time limit) faced each other. In one game we even managed to play an almost complete game in 15 minutes. Only our Strike 6 did not fit into the 15 minutes.

Nachdem alle Ihre Schuhe bekommen haben, durften wir uns auf den 16 Bahnen schon einmal warm spielen. Rund 20 Minuten später hat Roelandp dann die Mannschaften und die Regeln vorgestellt. Zu dem Zeitpunkt rannte auch @ned kurz durchs Bild und ich hab mir die Chance gegriffen ihn zumindest einmal einen schönen Abend beim Bowlen zu wünschen und ihn kurz in den Arm zu nehmen. Als das Turnier losging mussten sich die Paarungen an den Bahnen einfinden und mit dem Bowlen beginnen. Nach 15 Minuten hat das Team gewonnen, das am meisten Pins umgeworfen hat. Der jeweilige Teamleader musste dann zum DJ und bekanntgeben wer das Gewinner Team ist. So ging es dann immer weiter bis schlussendlich nur noch 3 Mannschaften übrig waren und im Final Spiel (welches ein komplettes Spiel war ohne Zeitbegrenzung) sich gegenüberstanden. In einem Spiel haben wir es sogar geschafft in 15 Minuten ein fast komplettes Spiel zu spielen. Lediglich unser 6er Strike hat nicht mehr in die 15 Minuten gepasst.

The Finale Game - Das Finalspiel

In the game for the victory our team Germany @felander @jaki01 @rivalzzz and I @louis88 had a hard time at the beginning. In the 5th round we were relatively far behind with the points. We thought already, damn it... that was it and we lost the victory. But no, we pulled ourselves together again and bundled our bowling skills. When @rivalzzz went to the last throw and cleared some pins it got really loud in the bowling club. With a distance of only 3 points, Team Germany was able to win.

Beim Spiel um den Sieg hat sich unser Team Germany @felander @jaki01 @rivalzzz und ich @louis88 anfangs schwer getan. In der 5ten Runde haben wir mit den Punkten relativ weit zurück gelegen. Wir dachten schon, verdammt... das wars gewesen und den Sieg haben wir verspielt. Aber nein, wir haben uns nochmal zusammengerissen und unsere Bowling-Kompetenzen gebündelt. Als @rivalzzz dann zum letzten Wurf ging und ordentlich Pins abgeräumt hat wurde es richtig laut im Bowling-Club. Mit einem Abstand von nur 3 Punkte konnte sich das Team Germany den Sieg einfahren.

It was exciting to win the BearBowling Cup. When we got the trophy and the BearBowling banner it got really loud again. The DJ played the song: We are the Champions and the whole club sang along. Of course we also had to provide our victory to the Steemians press and took a quick photo of the final team.

Es war aufregend den BearBowling Cup zu gewinnen. Als es dann soweit war und wir die Trophäe sowie das BearBowling Banner überreicht bekommen haben wurde es nochmal richtig laut. Der DJ spielte das Lied: We are the Champions und der ganze Club hat mitgesungen. Natürlich mussten wir unseren Sieg auch der Steemians Presse bereitstellen und haben noch schnell ein Foto vom Finalen Team gemacht.

It was a great experience to experience the Bearbowling Event with so much Steemians. An experience I will never forget in my life. The trophy and the banner get a special place of honour with my brother and me so that we always think back to the great time.

Es war eine großartige Erfahrung mit soviel Steemians das Bearbowling Event zu erleben. Eine Erfahrung die ich in meinem Leben nie wieder vergessen werde. Die Trophäe und das Banner bekommen bei meinem Bruder und mir einen besonderen Ehrenplatz damit wir immer zurück an die tolle Zeit denken.
