YES! Finally I am getting to the point in the timeline of my thousands of photos from this epic adventure. THE SteemFest action!

As you may know if you have been checking out my recent posts (of which are of the somewhat recent past...) Thankfully I went to Lisboa a few days before SteemFest2 so I could set up the SteemFest art gallery and also see the wondrous city before the non stop action packed days of STEEM!!!

NOW! I am finally up to the point in the photo timeline where I get to share the epicness that is SteemFest! 

This is also the point where I begin a month of almost non stop drinking of wine and beer! Thankfully there was a happy bar maiden to continually pour the brew.....Well there was actually two....

SteemFest was of course the highlight of the whole trip and the drinks were of plenty! Yet I did arrive early to Portugal, stay late and then travel through Spain afterwords. For anyone who does not know Spain is one of the biggest producers of both wine and beer in the world and not only can you get good wine/beer, but very cheap!

Everyone was really excited to be here because it was the FIRST SteemFest organized get together at a really cool old user floor apartment that was turned into a bar! @roelandp is an excellent host and has very fine taste!

The fellow Steemians were of course the highlight of this event and SteemFest, then the drinks then the awesome venue. Here you can see some of the photos of this upper apartment turned into a hip bar. 

This was once the living room and is now the biggest lunge spot in the bar. 

It had an antique rustic feel but was astheticly very pleasing. 

They also had lots of nice accents and decorations throughout the rooms.

I waited for the bathroom in what was probably once a bedroom turned into another smaller drinking lounge. I don't usually do any waiting so I alchemized it and made something of my time with a selfie ;-)>

The coloring, lighting and decoration in each room was legit. Now on to the BATHROOM!

Its just an average apartment bathroom, very small and basic. Which is almost unbelievable for a BAR as we know how much you gotta pee when drinking beer!

It was very stylish though and had a nice place for my beer while I took this photo and a pee ;-)>

Then it was back to the BEST part which was getting to know my fellow Steemians!

Little did I know, but at the PRE HACKATHON I was talking to the future WINNER @martibis of the SteemFest Hackathon!

I also had an awesome conversation with @originate who at the time I did not know was a Steemit Inc employee and part of the original Steemit Inc crew!

He had some great vibes, style and if I did not find out I would have never guessed he was a programmer. 

We all enjoyed our selfs and called the night slightly earlier than the following due to the early morning hackathon the next day!

Friendship is truly one of the most valuable gifts in life. I am thankful for the friendships I begun this night. Some of the people I got along with most @originate @wackou @piem @luzcypher and this magnificent man known only as Vincent who over the course of SteemFest I hung out with more than almost anybody. 

I am super excited to be sharing the beginnings of my SteemFest experience as it was truly epic. This is only just the beginning as I have so much more to share!
