i miss our times in steemfest 2: what about a uk forest gather? :)

nestled deep in the woods nearby a short walk, skip and a jump from where we are you can find some cabins that are rentable for short trips. i have no doubt that they are booked out right now for christmas and other events but i've walked passed them many times over the years and always thought that maybe one day i should put together some kind of weekend function, especially because there are maybe four or five of them in a row.

i know each one has room for about 7/8 people and they are quite big inside so your not gonna be in everyones way, i was thinking that maybe each 'house' (maybe you will have to be part of a harry potter style house for the weekend) should have a function, that is maybe one for food, exercise, outreach, social, content-creation. ... i'm not sure each should have a schedule, maybe quite loose and the other houses get together with each other at a variety of times throughout the day and weekend in general -- again, i'd need some feedback on this.

i certainly miss all of the faces of steemfest 2 and i know we could'nt possibly re-create the vibe and just incredible polish of an event by the organizers but we could get together some of the uk steemians here and build on some of our existing friendships -- i just don't think one event a year is gonna cut it for me! :)

also, while walking around today i saw that they are having a drop in gardening get together, call me old (you can, it's ok) but i'm really into that, be something nice to do with ella, she's a great green thumb and would get us exercising more than just our legs during our walks -- i dunno, i'd just love to do something in nature with other steemians, wood burning firepits, podcasting around the fire, sounds wonderful right?
