Today is the second day of the steemfest meet up that is taking place in Poland and following an initiative by @uwelang, I decided to write some of my thoughts regarding Steem(it)!
Taking the opportunity to discuss about steem & STEEMFEST3
This post shall have as first tag the #steemfesthomebound and with it, I would like to be able to share some of my thoughts about steemit.

Being a steemian for a little more than a year, there are certainly some already shaped opinions and ideas. Some of them I will share and some of them not (at this point)
Why do I love steemit?
Steemit was my first interaction with the Crypto World. Being curious by nature, I never took some time to explore the (at that time) frightening world for me.
All that changed in October 2017, when I first joined the platform.
Steemit helped me to get out of the box, it gave me the opportunity to meet like minded people, to interact with them, to open up a whole new world .....
A whole new world opens up right before your eyes, all you got to do is get out of the box
Why do I love steem blockchain?
When one first joins steemit, especially when there is no prior knowledge of blockchain, they think that steemit=steem. This is not true. The main core, the heart of the system is the steem blockchain. Everything else is an application on the blockchain.
It took me a while, but then I started getting acquainted with a variety of applications, communities, ideas, visions.
There are national communities (take for example @greek-trail)
There are scientific communities (such as @steemstem)
There are blogging communities (such as @steemitbloggers)
There are fund-raising communities (such as @fundition)
There are activity tracking & rewarding communities (such as @actifit)
There is an incredible open source community (@utopian-io)
There is a whole bunch of international translators (@davinci.witness)
There are even the incredible mamas of steemit, you would never had guessed, right? (@steemitmamas)
And so many other dApps that really make steem blockchain, a sustainable place that is worth to take the time to explore and to make the most of it!

Take some moments to discover the undiscovered and always expect the unexpected!

Who would I absolutely die to meet at SteemFEST3??
- @iliasdiamantis - A good friend that I have never met him till now. He is attending steemfest and always posts some of the most interesting updates that I do not want to miss.
What I would ask him: Where do you find inspiration for your crypto discoveries & cooking sessions?
- @suesa - A very dear person who I did not have yet the chance to meet. Recently she took up a very interesting role at the @Utopian-io Team and I think she is the perfect person for it!
What I would ask her: - How do you manage to be always, everywhere? Do you have time left for yourself?
- @andrarchy - He is the content director of Steemit Inc, I always hear what he has to say and I like the fact that steemit has been trying to come closer to its people..
What I would ask him: - 1. How did you feel with the steemfest 🔥 outfit? Whose idea was it?
And ..
2. If you have a new social media team, would you consider expanding your support with groups on facebook, telegram, discord, etc? We see many scammers everywhere, and I would like to see OFFICIAL groups in every place possible
- @ned - I know it will never happen, but he did post an AMA, so If I ever did meet him, I would take the opportunity to ask him ..

I dream of a Steem World
I hope that steem(it) will be a better place for everyone, that the communities will be able to make their visions a reality and that this technology can be an incubator for new ideas that will make the world a little bit better.
I dream of a world where cats, dogs, chicks and all kind of living creatures (including the bugs living in the photostories by @ruth-girl) can live together, happily ever after.
And we will not say no to the riches that come with it!

I am so happy that some people actually read!! @seapilot thanks for correcting the typo!
The trick is to use the right apps. Ginabot is essential to know what's going on, and I have discord notifications for the most important stuff. Aside from that, it's mostly about multitasking, and I'm great at that. Which results in an appropriate amount of me-time :)

Crypto is something new and revolutionary and want to be part of it.
My inspiration on cooking comes from pure hunger. I have to cook something to eat. Simple as that.
