Hi Steemians, one day before the closing dinner of the Steemfest² in lisbon, we thought about what to do in the night and there was a really nice idea by @surfermarly ?: A Steemfest Poker Tournament!
Because some people wrote immediately that they would join us, we decided to organize it. The first idea was to play on a small table in one of the HF Fenix Hotels, but this table was rrreeaalllyyy small...
So I suggested to play in the awesome hotel, where @lex030 and me resided, because there are many tables you can put together and the lobby is very nice: The 5 Star - EPIC Sana Hotel!
Here are some impressions of our amazing Hotel in Lisbon:
And even for the healthy smokers there is a nice outside area:
We asked the hotel staff if it is ok to invite some friends (we said 4 people ^^) for playing cards together and they said yes, but it is illegal to play with money. And we didn´t played with "money", we played with NUTS + Steem! 😄
Then it really happened: Not only 4 people came to take part in our unofficial Steemfest Poker Tournament, like we told the hotel staff... Over 12 people came to participate in the tournament & just for watching too! (At first I was a little bit overwhelmed with it... ^^)

Yes, the AA was played!!!
My last hand was a 1 on 1 battle against @blocktrades and it was a pleasure for me to loose against him! :-)
After around 3 hours there was only @nanzo-scoop and @pgarcgo left in the tournament, after @blocktrades dropped out as the third place:
Then it was time for the epic final @nanzo-scoop VS @pgarcgo and the winner was: @pgarcgo - Congratulations again and good game everyone!
We have to repeat this next year for sure and maybe the STEEMFEST POKER tournament will be an official part of the Steemfest³? 😍

Der glückliche Gewinner war @pgarcgo und @nanzo-scoop wurde 2. Platz! 👍 Insgesamt waren 500 Steem im Pot (50 Steem pro Person, 10 Leute haben also mitgespielt) und der erste Platz hat 350 Steem bekommen, der zweite Platz 150 Steem.
