My Steemgigs Testimonial: I Am A Steemgigger And A Steemian From Afar

in steemgigs-testimonial •  7 years ago  (edited)

I`ll be honest. I like the concept behind steemgigs.org because it is the best place for steemians especially newbies to get progressively build their steemit profile on their way to earning a decent income from home. Indeed, steemgigs.org is the newest online marketplace for various services such as “I will draw….”, “I will send…”, “I will help...” and etc. It is where you can find awesome services and even get people to do the craziest and funniest things in exchange for steem. Just click the reply button under the gig and you will place an order based on the specific deliveries and your preferences.

I needed to find a way to keep myself motivated and that is how I stumbled upon steemgigs.org. I am new to the site and I know that there is still so much left for me to learn. I started offering my gigs knowing that I will be giving something valuable to my clients.

I am glad that the site included the #steemgig-testimonial tag where the client and steemgiggers leave their feedback. At least both parties can leave reviews prior to seeing the other review.

What you are reading right this moment is my steemgigs testimonial. I have so many jumble thoughts in mind that I am confused where I should start. So please help me to take things slowly and be with me till the end of this post.

I have already published three gigs and here are they:

My First Steemgigs: I will send (likes/hearts/wows....or mix) reactions to your Fb or Fanpage Post

At that time of publishing my first gig, I hit more than 14,000 Facebook followers that made me so confident to offer a service of sending likes or reactions to various Facebook posts. I have known and met my followers in an established Facebook group where all members are required to like and follow back each other.

I didn`t like the idea that a certain post is popular because of the fact that it was conditioned and designed to be in it in the first place. But I have given enough thought on this. Unlike steemit that the bidding bots upvote the post without judging its content and make that post popular depending on the amount sent, my followers have the freedom to choose what kind of post they want to vote or like. I guess it is fair enough to say that offering a liking service in steemgigs.org is not bad.

Going back to my first gig, I never expected someone to be interested in my service! I am sincerely grateful to @pinay for trying my first offered steemgig.
Before and After sending likes to @pinay`s Facebook fanpage.

She was the only client I had in this gig and I felt the honor to fulfill and deliver my service to the point that I sent more likes than what the number of likes supposedly she should get. Nevertheless, this was done with the heart. No worries. No regrets. And no grudges. I just liked what I did and knowing that I did something valuable to others, that made me rejoice with the time.

My Second Steemgigs: I will send Instagram Likes/Reactions To Your Post

I admit that the service I offered on this is relatively new to me. It happened that I chatted an old friend who is an established freelancer from Fiverr and one of the services she offers is sending reactions on Instagram posts. I asked her how and then, I tried to encourage her to sign up on steemgigs.org but she declined as she did not want to go somewhere new. Fiverr is her life and it is where she pulled herself together when she was jobless and after she survived her attempted suicide. I could not force her to come and join me but she selfishlessly taught me how to send Instagram likes.

You know what? I got only one client on this gig. However, I know that it is better to have one than nothing. I could not put it into words but I want to give my sincere thanks to @jedaijudith, the only client who showed interest in my second gig.
Before and After sending likes to @jedaijudith`s Instagram photo.

She asked me first how she could avail my service. I responded to her, explaining my service better. Then after she sent SBD as a payment, I started to process likes on her Instagram photo but she asked me to refund an amount of 0.450 SBD as she accidentally sent me 0.500 instead of 0.050.

Therefore, I had to edit the number of likes to send and started it again. In the end, she got more likes than what she paid for but it is all right. What important to me was to serve her well to the best of my ability. In fact, I was so glad that @jedaijudith dropped her comments on my post and that what motivated me to go on as a steemgigger.

My Third Steemgigs: I will upvote your COMMENTs (not posts) to other posts for free!

I was overwhelmed to see many interested steemians on my third gig with the link to the post they commented. I am speechless up to now. Thank you so much, everyone!

I really love it, you know. I was offering my upvote with a little value free without even thinking whether the one who I will upvote can see the benefit from it or not. Nonetheless to say, upvotes were given freely not because it was the service I offered but because it was out of the purest intention of my heart. I wanted to help my fellow steemians gain exposure on their substantial comments and inspire them to make an effort to write comments to someone`s post which in one or the other way support the author of the post they commented.

The good thing I appreciated to my clients is that they did not overstep their limit and throw me with more than five links of posts they commented. They were really patient to wait for my voting power to regenerate in time. Furthermore, I was not expecting them to thank me but there were few who did put an extra effort to send their gratitude and appreciation. The rest who did not thank me does not mean they were not thankful. I did not think that way. Never did I. It is all right. I know that they were thankful in their hearts even if they did not express it verbally or in digital means.

Moving on, this is not yet the end of my testimonial. I have something to tell you, my dear steemians.

I was puzzled to many comments completely missed the point of my third steemgigs post. Even more amazing, there were several steemians that essentially provided links directing to their own post while others obviously did not bother to read my post. In this point, I learned that 25% of my clients weren’t paying close attention. Did they misunderstand something I could have said more clearly?

It pained me to reject one who dropped by and placed the link of the post he commented and then, later on, found out that I would not be able to give him an upvote as it was obvious that he did not read my post at all. But what could I do? If I had upvoted him knowing that he did not comply to the requirements needed, then, this means that I supported his mistakes of not following the instructions noted and even worst, it is possible that he will repeat the same mistake next time around.

It is easy to be deceived by the word “Free” but life is not always like that, my dear steemians. I had to let my clients know that reading matters and telling them what they did wrong in a straight-forward manner would help them see things clearly and understand that they have to draw more effort in order to gain something valuable.

In real life, if you fail something because you did not follow what is instructed you won`t get anywhere. Hence, it is more crucial and empowering to let others know where they failed than to let the matters go without even letting them know where they have gone wrong.

The fact that they ignored to read my post ached me a lot. I knew that I was in a better position to think more about understanding my clients heartily than I should go with my emotions for I know that they are still in the process of learning how to grow on steemit potentially and my job was to help and engage them well on my gig without harassing them with brutality and painful words.

I did not turn a blind eye. I tried to reason with my clients who did not understand my service and happily enough to say that they did not go out of their way to hurt me.

To @surpassinggoogle who showed me the glittering rainbow after the rain:

You are the number one supporter of my gigs. How am I supposed to thank you when I cannot even find the right words to express my gratitude to every support you have given to me? There are no perfect words that can represent what my heart feels every time you left your support.

I do not know what but deep in the deepest part of my heart lies a thousand fold of my genuine gratitude to you which my mind and mouth cannot be able to speak of. So please let this post spread its wings and fly into you. With all my heart, thank you so much.

If there is one thing I`ve learned to you that is to help and empower others with the best of intention.

After one to ten or even twenty years, please be still the @surpassinggoogle who has a genuine heart for struggling and troubling steemians and most of all, be the @surpassinggoogle I used to know since the beginning of my steemit journey.

To Wrap Up Everything:

I want to acknowledge all of you who supported my gigs, because, after all, you were my clients, upvoters, supporters and readers! It is really a thrill to have such experience that I never dreamt. I am so much grateful on the verge of tears because I have put everything in order to please you and keep my reputation up. Thank you so much in a million!

I upvoted your contribution because to my mind your post is at least 13 SBD worth and should receive 79 votes. It's now up to the lovely Steemit community to make this come true.
