On this occasion I want to share a story about a tradition that is always on the run when the month of Ramadan comes. Do you know this is the habit of some residents in seputaran area I live. Where every month of Ramadan comes all the good old boys come together to show the traditions that have been played long before we were born. This is a tradition of burning mariam bamboo or mariam mocks made of pinang tree trunks and fuel oil drums. This is a game in a part of the village yard that is in the province of Aceh and even outside of Aceh province there is doing it. The tradition of declining in meriahkan the month of Ramadhan is the goal to unite the people and the community to be established strong silaturrahmi fellow citizens and the community.
This game is a bit dangerous because it uses oil and fire materials to cast a very big bang sound. This game is usually played between the bow of the river where the side of the river is filled with cannons to each other out the biggest sound.
This cannon is just a game but has a sound that is not less great with the original cannon for real war. This is a war between fellow citizens is just a game to unite people and enliven the month of Ramadan. Many enthusiasts from the citizens who participated in the play.
This cannon in addition to a game will tetepi require a slightly big cost. For the issue of expenditure in the can of voluntary citizens who provide a glance to carry out this tradition activity goes and can be enjoyed together with other residents and penonyons.
