PITCHING YOUR DREAMS ON THE BLOCKCHAIN

The title of this post was a statement made by @lordjames at a conference organized by the @steemcamp competition where we had several speakers who were present to teach us all we needed to know about steemit. I, for one really enjoyed his presentation because he talked about bringing my dreams to the Blockchain. I wasn't so sure bringing my dream/talent to the Blockchain was a good idea because I felt it was not the right place to get noticed and influence people with what's inside of me. But hearing him speak on that day during the conference, he made some remarkable statements which truely changed my perception about the Blockchain, most especially on Steemit.

Steemit is more than a blogging site. It is a Platform where you can pitch your dream.

WHAT IS A DREAM?

A dream is a cherished aspiration, ambition, or ideal.

I had and still have a Cherished Aspiration of becoming one of the GREATEST SPOKEN WORD ARTIST AND GOSPEL SINGER, but with little challenges here and there, I was beginning to loose focus of where I wanted to go. Probably because for you to put up your material on top social media platforms for the world to see, you had to pay for their services but this is why the steemit platform is just so unique. Here, I got to understand that I can actually put up whatever I love doing which is singing/spoken word and still get rewarded at the same time. I could find those who does the same thing as myself and get to communicate with them thereby learning from them and getting more informed about my ART.

I could still find people who truly appreciate what you do and still pick interest in you, I've seen numerous of such on this platform and it has really encouraged me to come out of my hiding box.

TIME I EXPLORE

When I first joined steemit, the only thing I had in mind to do was just to write and it's what I'm still doing but now is a time to explore the Blockchain and Pitch my Dream Here!

So yesterday after my service in church, I decided to go to the keyboard to do both a short song cover and my Original Spoken word piece.
