Steemit is all about making new friends, belonging to and interacting with the communities on Steemit and getting to know new people. You no doubt belong to one or more communities on Steemit. All the communities use this amazing chat application called discord to chat on the platform. I decided to make this gig because last week, i met another Steemian who i asked to link up with me on discord. The answer? He said he does not know how to use discord and have never used it before. He is not the first person to respond that way. I have seen a lot of people on Steemit who do not know about this wonderful chat application. So because of this, i want to show anybody who belongs to this category how to us discord.
What can discord do for you?
Discord is a chatting application like Whatsapp and Telegram. But discord is much more than that. Below are some of the uses of discord.
- Create your presence a large community.
- Make new friends by sending or receiving a friend request.
- Belong to a community
- With together with people on projects.
- Learn about people, places and things.
- Receive upvote (for example if you belong to MSP).
- Interact with communities.
- Get recognized for your achievements.
- Start a chat channel of group
- Get a lot of free stuff.
In my time of using discord, these are some of the ways i have gained. ofcourse this is not an exhaustive list. There are still many ways to benefit if you learn to use discord.
The discord app can be downloaded on your android device or you can use the web version. Either ways, i will be willing to teach you how to install and use discod app if you do not know how to do it.
