In fact, this is the reason I am inspired to initiate this kind of service here in Steemgigs. I want to have a network of Personalized Delivery Services in this Platform so it would be easier for Steemians to send stuff over to loved ones in any place where this service exist which could be anywhere and everywhere. This is also a brilliant way to popularize Steem and SBD as a means of exchange.

Definition of Personalized Delivery Service:

The service is personalized and you can ask the person in charge to buy you particular stuff and send them over to the person you want it sent. You can ask him/her to do grocery shopping, buy OTC (over-the-counter) medicines, buy flowers, cakes, chocolates, plushie toys, a box of pizza or just anything you want to surprise your loved ones with.

How Will You Be Billed:

The client will have to pay the price as reflected on receipts of the items you wish to be delivered plus an additional delivery fee of minimum of 3SBDs for the errand of buying the stuff and the delivery.

How To Avail Of The Service:

You need to inform me 3-5 days prior to the date you want the items to be sent to your loved ones. It will be enough for me to make sure I am able to locate stores where to buy the stuff that you want me to buy. In this time frame, we will be in constant communication with regards to the the details of the stuff you want me to buy, the cost of each item, the size, the color, the quantity and all those details. The client also needs to provide the complete details of the person whom the items will be sent to. The client will have to pay first in fiat or SBD through Steemit or any local money remittance centers or via paypal before I buy the items and deliver them. Any excess will be returned as change to the client.

Considerations:

For large items that need to be delivered via a special vehicle, an additional charge will have to be negotiated between the client and me.

For items that cannot be bought within Tacloban City, we will have to agree on an arrangement with couriers and there might be additional charges and additional days in the time frame needed for the delivery.

Limitations:

No illegal items should be requested using this service.

The service provider has the right to decline when she is fully-booked for the day.

The service provider has the right to decline to provide the service if the errand requested is beyond what she thinks she is capable of providing.

My Proposal to Network this Kind of Service In Steemgigs:

I am proposing that other Steemians do the same Steemgigs Personalized Delivery Service in their respective locations. It will be fine if there are a number of people offering this service in one location so there will be others who can do the service if in case one service provider is fully booked for a particular date. I am encouraging Steemians to launch this service in Steemgigs, I am looking forward to send my next gift to my boyfriend via a Personalized Delivery Service offered by one of our Steemians in Davao City! This will help a lot of people earn through Steemgigs while enjoying their control over their precious time and being within the comfort of their own cities and locality.

If others will offer this service, I would like to propose a flat rate of 3SBDs for each, do not make your rate lower than that to not disrespect others who will be doing the same. Let us put that as a minimum and no one should go less than that.

I think this is a good way to help the Steem community to build relationships with people inside and outside of Steemit. This is a good way to promote Steemit/Steem and SBD as well. This is also a practical application of how SBDs can be used instead of the regular fiat currency and this is one way of promoting the use of crypto in our day to day life.
