Visit https://steemit.com/~witnesses to cast vote. You don't need voting power to cast this vote!

2. @ekitcho of Busy.org was kind enough to delegate some more steem power for @steemgigs for a month. This will help in our goal of reaching 5,000 #steemgigs as we will look to curate content under #steemgigs to support these authors with upvotes.

For the most part, we will like to see you add "Steemgig" to your title as this helps propagate the tag as well as helps "Steemgig Forum" on Chain BB, organize automatically. This will also help us with compilation, now when most things are done manually.

3. Posts from #steemgigs are automatically posted to the official steemgigs twitter page to help improve steemit growth. We accomplished this using IFTTT and the RSS URL for steemgigs:

https://streemian.com/rss/steemgigs

4. We are helping @busy.org with hiring developers and we would like interested developers to join the discord here, for the hiring process. Simply ask @surpassinggoogle for directions.

This is the link to a post describing job requirements:

SteemGig: Busy.org Is Hiring!!! Fully-Remote Experienced React And JavaScript Developers, Please See Specifications!

5. @steemdevelopers are also on the steemgigs community discord as well, thus and for them we added an annex channel on the Steemgigs Community, so that incase you want to learn programming or want to offer your expertise by teaching coding, you have  additional place to reach them on.

6. Idea factory has been created to help you with bringing your ideas to life. We simply brainstorm with you. And tell you who to contact incase you want to build tools to enhance your enterprise. Even when short on steemit post ideas etc, simply join us there. It is free!

7. @steemiteducation allows educators on steemit to apply their expertise into teaching something, by means of a steemit post. Basically, you have a chance of earning extra income doing this. If this is something you are interested in visit here and contact @giantbear

8. Steem Meetup Philippines happened to effect growth of steemit in the Philippines and @steemgigs had presence at the event.

We got to know more developers based in the Philippines and their action plan in terms of bringing steemit to the mainstream. Bringing steem to the mainstream equally in developing countries is one of the core aims of #steemgigs and we will use this new-found talent knowledge to create more steem waves!

In the pipeline

1. Hooray-Brigade

We believe in practical as a method of teaching, thus, we started hooray-brigade, a branch of @steemgigs that teaches newbies about steemit by having them teach others. They will do this by answering to comments containing steemit-related questions and questions in general, in an appropriate and friendly manner and they will target trending posts and we will find ways to incentivize this.

A complete post will be written about this. However, if you a steemian wanting to learn more about steemit and one who loves engaging in the comments; join us on hooray-brigade.

2. Crypto-trading room.

A free class where experts will teach you  about crypto-trading. As you continue in your steemit journey you will start to encounter this niche and you may want to become versed in it; so why not. Join us here!

3. Learn ICOs.

Would you want to stay up-to-date on things related to ICOs. Many ICOs pop up and many investors are quick to jump on ICOS to gather these assets when they are cheap but do they just jump in? The answer is NO! Many have to study the technology behind these ICOs; the company's history and value proposition etc before making investment decisions. @adsactly for instance, creates a successful organization around adept ICO knowledge. This is where we come in. You can tap into free well of knowledge by hanging out here with us.

Latest Community Initiatives

@officialfuzzy has managed to spur another creative community initiative cooked up by his weekly Whaletank hangouts:

Voice Shares

The is a new token being distributed as an incentive for people looking to have their voice heard. Stories exist to be told, however, some stories can be very private. Voice shares fixes that by incentivizing you to tell your story while keeping your identity secret.

They are still evolving but currently have the voice shares token valued at 1 BTS and this may be the time to get some.

They currently have contest to give away some of this tokens, so go ahead and read about voice shares here, then you can join them here to learn more about how to get some. Simply look for @looftee!

Dear @steemgigs

I was wondering if this post could be considered a steemgig?

I did tag it but I'm wondering if it's suitable or not? I visited discord yesterday but wasn't able to clarify with anyone if it met the requirements.

Thank you for your time

Asher
