#STEEMGIGS: (TIL(Today I Learned)) — It is just 15 Minutes Walk from our Home to Poblacion ( the center of Binan)

I am a lazy kid and don't like working out. But today as I did something out of the context on my daily routine. As I have shared last night on my first Ulog I will need to go outside because I will return the tuxedo that I used for a Christmas party 2 years ago.



Each time that we will talk about the tuxedo it is either that I am busy or he is busy so we cannot set the date on when I will go and deliver it to him. Until some time that we forgot about it already.


When we met we talked about the changes on his life especially about fitness. For a kid who just do surfing as his sport internet surfing to be exact I was amazed on his mini transformation from the past 3 months. He told me that he was once around 94kgs 3 months ago but due to a life changing experience like he is having gout and the tissues on his feet are already tearing apart he decided to move into the healthier side plus he said that he is broken hearted and it is a part of moving on.


@ellebravo and I are in good terms so I am not moving on nor broken hearted so maybe what pushed me to do it is because.


  1. I need something to post I am running out of ideas on my stories
  2. For health reasons ( Nyahahaha)


So after we separate and eating a bowl of porridge with chicharon and egg I decided to do a mini walk. From Poblacion which is the main area in our city to our home. The usual time if I will be riding a tricycle is at least 7-8 mins. So first things first I need to make sure that I am properly hydrated because I will be walking and running ( which didn't happen) and I went to the nearest convenience store and bought 1 bottle of water.



After securing my water, I began my mini activity. I timed myself It was 9:52 AM when I walked away from the terminal in Poblacion. As usual the tricycle drivers that are from our place are are calling my name and asking if I am going home and I need to ride. It is kinda nice and at the same time annoying since I need to answer them back saying "Hindi po maglalakad po ako ngayon para healthy living" ( No, I will just walk this time for healthy living). I am not sure if I translated it correctly.



I carry on walking until I felt that the back of my shirt is already sweating 3 mins after doing some brisk walk. I tried to sprint too as per instructed by my friend atleast 5 seconds if I can then walk back. 7 mins I am already mid-way as I saw our brgy's arc already. That time I told myself okay I think I did walk fast but my legs are already leaving me. Like I felt that they are not in sync already hahaha. That's what you get from not doing some exercise brother.



I continued on walking this time at a slower pace because I am already feeling that my legs are getting numb. Btw I am always prone to cramps there were nights wherein I will be awake just because I experienced cramps while sleeping.


After a few minutes around 15 mins there I arrived in our home. Safe and still in somehow good shape I guess. I immediately apply some ointment in my legs and rested a bit.


Aside from learning that it is just 15 mins walk from our place to Poblacion one of the lessons that I re-learned is the importance of stretching. My father told me that I should have done stretching first before I did that activity. Since my muscles are always in the "sleep" status due to not being active they are not ready yet when I did that activity earlier hence it is aching.


What I am hoping for is I can maintain this pace or be consistent on doing it, because I myself have doubts about it. I guess that is all for me now thanks for reading the things that I learned for this day.


P.S. After resting a bit since it is still breakfast I ate fried chicken and 2 cups of fried rice. I think I just walked for the sake of eating more today hahahah.

We need to exercise in order to have a healthy body. Taking good care of our health is the most important things we should always consider because our body is the most precious weath that we had.
