I mentioned in a previous post about how the condition of a sister in faith taught me the value of time.
Over the weekend, I made no post, intereacted just a little, upvoted only some posts and that is it. I spent very little time on Steemit. It was because the sister I mentioned in my previous post (we call her ate Ley) was already sent home.
I didn't know welcoming someone home could bring other emotion apart from happiness; yet there is a PAINFUL emotion this signage brought.
Everyone around tried so hard to keep the atmosphere jolly and positive, as was advised. There is however a thick air silently circulating that kept us sad and in pain -- the biting reality was that she was sent home because the doctors surrendered and they admitted that they can do nothing to cure Ate Ley.
Being a storyteller that she is, she tries so hard to talk and entertain us. But the body is weak and so she was lying on her bed listening to us telling stories to her this time. Like the usual, she laughs even at the slightest funny thing - although not the way she used to be anymore.
Last night, when we ended our family worship with a song. It was weird why tears unexpectedly were coming out of my eyes. I say weird since I have sang and heard that song a thousand times already.
To quote a few lines of it:
Life in this world can be hard.
Life in this world can bring tears and pain.
Still ev'ry day I will say,
"My life is not in vain."
For God is not unrighteous, and he remembers the love I've shown.
So he is ever near mr; With Jehovah, I'm not alone.
Yes, God is my provider and my protector down to the end.
Yes, Jehovah is my Father, my God and my Friend.
The song touched me and brought tears. Maybe because I remembered it was this song that we sang the last time she attended the bible study. She even complimented at how good my little one was in singing.
You could click on the link above to listen to it.
It is a comforting song, i'd say. Since after shedding tears, my emotions got lighter.
Yes, teardrops can make a difference.
Malungkot. Pero masaya kc may pag asa tayo sa future.

It's one of my favorite song. Parang naffeel mo talaga ang assurance na hindi ka papabayaan ni Jehovah.

What a beautiful song. That’s one of my favourite too...
Yes, maybe there's a pain inside our heart but let us pray to Jehovah to comfort us. We all know about his promises in the future whatever happens.
