#STEEMGIGS: I need to edit a Gig, could I?

in steemgigs •  7 years ago

I was very excited when I posted my first gig last month, March. You can read about the post here: I will help you be cool this summer season.

I got busy and one event followed after the next so I was not able to post any gig after that first one. The next time I used steemgigs.org was when I learned about the TIL challenge. In case you are wondering what TIL means, it is a short for Today I Learned.

And so I posted. It was about the jeepney ride experience.

I was offline at the time of my writing it. I wrote it on my notepad just so my thoughts would not dessipate. I do have a surplus of forgetfulness. So, I automatically wrote along the markdown styles that I have been using whenever I post on Steemit. Those asterisks, pound sign and all.

Then when I got the chance to go online, I simply copied it and pasted it on the steemgigs.org editor.

I was happy enough my thoughts on the TIL challenge got through my rather disorganized cranium. Sadly though, it doesn't look close enough to how I envisioned the article to look like. Even I, the author, seemed disturbed rereading what I wrote. Uhm, url, pound signs, asterisks. Na-ah.

I did not like how it looked. So, I was finding a way to edit it. But I failed.

I do not know if I just missed the edit button on the steemgigs.org, or is there?

Here I am posting through the un(dis)talented editor on steemgigs.org and I think I am getting the hang of it pretty well. See those neatly posted links and those styles. Proud of myself. LOL

Crossing my fingers, hoping this would look better using the markdown styles layouted here before finally hitting this "SAVE AND PROCEED" button.

Anyhow, for the untalented steemgiger that I am, it would definitely make me happy if I able to see the edit button here.

That's the same problem I noticed in steemgigs. Cannot edit the spaces and the other symbol format didn't work.

Yes. We are even looking at changing the editor, so it can also support html. It is on the way.

wow amazing

Hahaha soon. Give it a few more weeks. I add more funds to the pool for development. For now, you can only edit using steemit. It will get better soon

Alrighty, that "soon" there is something to look forward to in steemgigs.

Yep sir Terry, I tried editing it in steemit and my nose almost bled seeing all those parentheses. Scared that I might make some more mess out of it, i just left it that way. 😂

Thanks for dropping by, it meant a lot. More power to you and all the steemgigers out there! Jah bless us!

Thank you sir @surpassinggoogle for you keep on making development for the benefit of steemians.

Brother awesome
