STEEMIT,HELP ME TO RETURN my MONEY

in steemhelp •  8 years ago

Hi everybody!Yesterday I finished my 69 post and was lucky to get about 166 Steem Dolars for it.It was just my third post which was evaluated in such good price.I like Steemit, because I have a chance to share with people information which is interesting for me.And I am too glad if people are also like my posts and I could be useful for them.

But trasfering my money, I was too unlucky today, because of mistaking in adress, instead of f552c12232e05ac4,I wrote f552c12231e05ac4 and lost all money.
Mistake is just in one number, and all my effords are wasted.(

If anybody was in such situation or know how to retun my money, give your advice in comment, please!

Write to exchange support.

Thanks,I'll try

No problem. Next time use copy/paste. Dont write.
Or better: next time power up.

transfers from bitcoin are ireverrsable!

In your wallet I see:
58 minutes ago Transfer 62.771 SBD to poloniex f552c12231e05ac4

You sent the money to the account poloniex, with the memo f552c12231e05ac4. You should contact Poloniex, I am sure they have it, just because of your mistake it can't be automatically added to your account, it now has to be done manually.

If you look at Poloniex's wallet you will see your payment there. So it's not gone.

@ottodv if i ask for help to support they could return me it on my account?

Probably they can, yes. The money didn't disappear, it's in their account as we can see. And they can see it came from you. So at the very least they can send it back to you.

It's also very unlikely that you accidentally entered someone else's memo, since it's only 1 number different. So contact support, with the details.

Were you transferring to an exchange? For example, if you were transferring to Poloniex, and it is the information you put in the memo box, then you have to talk with support in the exchange.
I made experiments using uppercase instead of lowercase letters and the coins never arrived. I talked to support a and they were able to restore my coins, but with a big warning: Try not to make this kind of mistake because you could lose your coins forever
Good luck...

i've sent a letter to support, hope they will help
maybe i should do smth more?

They take usually around 12 hours to give an answer. I am pretty sure that you are going to get your coins back.

Hi @sinkova. Did you recover your coins? Please update to know if this kind of mistake are fatal to our finances. Best regards.
