the main purpose of the device is to inform someone in case of an accident but I think it can also help the police investigator to have a clear insight on the accident-about what really happened

It looks like a black box on an airplane, but it may differ in many ways, it may be necessary to add features such as not only collecting data and helping if there is an accident but can also be used for tracking cars in the event of car theft. Awesome.
