The first in its series, the BMW i8 Roadster, is a speedy hybrid automotive with a stunning iconic design. Just sufficient space for 2 passengers and some luggage in the rear. The retractable roof folds in 15 seconds!
Specs to note:
- Silent electric driving in the plug-in hybrid sports car with 374 hp
- From 0 to 100 in 4.6 seconds
- Fully automatic soft-top
- CO2 emissions 46 g/km (combined)
- Fuel consumption 2.0 l/100 km (combined)
- Power consumption 14.5 kWh/100 km (combined)
- 20” light-alloy wheels 516 in Jet Black matt
- Intelligent energy management - between the electric motor and the battery with the combustion engine
- Ultralight passenger compartment made of high-strength carbon-fibre
This is my dream plug-in hybrid vehicle for 2018 - as long as the Teslas are not in the picture!

I had been waiting for BMW to finally take out its new roadster and it has satisfied me very well, this car has an incredible design, besides being a hybrid that consumes electricity and fuel has a very low percentage of emissions. This is, without doubt, one of the most attractive vehicles I've seen and with a power and speed that does not disappoint.

This electric car is quite awesome. The speed is quite fast for electric car.
It's not as good as lamborghini veneno or bugatti chiron, but with price below $200k, it won't make us bankrupt or sell our house to buy it.
